Since the Boss Beaver is on mega sale, I wanted to show off some mod/hack ideas. During the process I also give a decent demo on how to remove loop velcro. milspecmonkey.c...

I don't think I've ever seen a video where someone teaches you how to destroy their product

I love my Boss Beaver and the beavertail is super useful! Maybe for a next generation it would be nice to just make the beavertail removable? Maybe have the mesh connected to the pack with a zipper or something?

On the one hand I do love the size of the main compartment as it stands, but man having that beaver tail on there for those over-sized items has really saved my bacon a few times and the admin area is mega handy. Very tough call.

That looks so slick. But I was screaming when you made that first cut.

This makes me sad. This was such an innovative and risky design that should have done better. It really is a great pack...very versatile and well thought out. I'm sorry it didn't catch on. I love mine and am grateful I got it while I could. It has held up extremely well for the last 5 years.

This is the best bag I have ever owned. I use it daily and for military duty it's held up from everything and it's very versatile.

Well, even on sale it is still 15 dollars more expensive than the Adapt Pack at full price, so I don't see the point in buying it just to chop it up. Boss Beaver is a fantastic pack for those who need the space by the way, pity it did not sell well.
