Not to be negative but I would use something much heavier for a chain than (what looked like) cooking oil weight

Fitted mine as instructions and was happy with it It worked when I turn it correct turns and stopped afterwards parked bike up over night came to it next day to find it had emptied it self all over floor any ideas why

Mine lasted a month. Now when you fill it all of the oil just runs out onto the ground.

Your o-ring (visible at the 0:26 timestamp in the video) is probably missing, causing loss of vacuum which allows all the oil in the tank to drip out non-stop. You should have a spare o-ring in the kit.

? So you fill it up, I get it. And then you twist it while riding? To make a big messy oil sht on your bike. It drips way to fast. Its leaking…
