Their ultimate vocal flex is the Immortal Songs Medley. This is a clip from their 2017 concert. The Immortal Songs is a competitition show where the contestants cover songs by famous Korean artists. It's audience tended to be older and idols were generally looked down on. Mamamoo started appearing in their rookie year and they were the first female idol group to win. They were also the first idol group to win multiple times. They eventually appeared 14 time (plus a solo appearance by Solar) and won 3 times. The actual Immortal Songs appearances will usually be blocked but there is no issue with the medley. I'd also recommend watching a guide before too long. My favorite is the Purple Hawk one that has the most info about the individual members (2020). The Moo_Yt one is also good and is more up to date (2022). Finally there is Why Mamamoo is the most underrated Group (ignore the title), which is a good essay about how Mamamoo has affected the Kpop industry.

The finger mustache they do in their harmonized intro is part of the choreo for their debut single Mr Ambiguous and it's basically their signature move that's been part of their self-introduction since 2014. Lol about the 4'11" girl from high school. MMM are notoriously short, ranging from about 5'2" to 5'4", and they even wrote a comedic hip hop song called 1 CM/Taller Than You where they bicker over who's the tallest midget in the group. The first song was their debut single, Mr Ambiguous. It was written for Quincy Jones by the co-CEO of MMM's label RBW and the girls auditioned it for Quincy when he was in Seoul for a concert. Quincy decided not to use the song, which was originally called Mamamoo, so it was re-titled and partially re-written and given to the girls for their debut and the original song title became the group's name. There are MVs for each of these songs except I Miss You. If you want to hear the full song watch their performance on the competition tv show Queendom. Mamamoo is my favorite group and Solar is not only my bias she is my favorite singer as well. This group is known specifically for being at the top with the best of the best vocalists, especially live. They have over 400 videos and put out 25 songs every year between their albums, solo albums for each, collabs, covers, OSTs. Wheein, Moonbyul and Solar have all released albums this year, hwasa will be next and they have all released a couple of OSTs each for TV shows, covers as well. They have you tube channels. Solarsido has much of Solar's covers and collabs. Any song works, their MVs are all very well produced like Egotistic was. But definitely look for live performance videos and just live anything, few singers can sing so well live you almost cant tell it is live and they can do it for 4 hour long concerts, I know I saw them live in los angeles last year. Another great medley to a live band as well is the Mamamoo hit songs live collection from the Hwasa TV show. They do 1llella and one of their best ballads, paint me in between a medley of their songs and solos. This is also recent from a couple of years ago. All of their solo work is great, the most recent is Solar's colours, But I is rock(she also does a piano version with her playing the piano) and the last song if you can find live watch or the audio of Blues because it is a true blues song. Mamamoo makes every genre mamamoo you will find they sing everything. They put in a lot of practice, even singing while doing physical exercises so they can sing while doing choreo. The moustache gesture is a callback to their debut song (as opposed to a couple of predebut songs that preceeded it) "Mr. Ambiguous". In Korean, ambiguous is "aemaemoho", which sounds a lot like "mamamoo", and the girls just love word play. But there's a third dimension to it, there is a word for moustache (aside from the common _kossuyeom_ that Google Translate comes up with) that sounds very similar as well, hence the gesture.

For me singing (vocal talent and skill) are most important Mamamoo has four awesome singers and I recommend them highly. I also suggest watching their solo performances. Note: Moonbyul (rapper) is also an awesome singer as well and you can see that in her solos.

Mamamoo is the REASON there IS a "Killing Voice", they were the FIRST. And it's one of the reasons it's so short. Before them it was The "Killing Verse" and featured ONLY Rappers. Speciffically "The Killing Voice" exists because of Solar. SOLAR(w/Mamamoo) wanted to join 'Killing verse' but WASN'T accepted. So Dingo Music created 'Killing Voice' and Called MAMAMOO.
