To anyone who thinks Soyeon is not a good rapper, and her English raps are bad ... Being a rapper doesn't rely on being good at English. She is a Korean having an accent is not a sin..Her raps in Korean are work of art...her wordplay and lyrical ability is no joke....and her tone !! If you want to debate more on that find me a female idol rapper who can do a 16 note to 32 note displacement flow or offbeat flows like Soyeon has done this year, for a advertisement called "Play Buldak''... Many wouldn't even dare to try it. And I remind you, she did that for an AD !! I will make it easy for you, there is NONE ... Not even CL not even LE not even Hyuna Not even Moonbyul...Just Her. As you can see the chorus is literally "SHE TOOK ME TO THE SKY SHE SHOWED ME ALL THE STARS" this accompanied with Soojin's verse and Soyeon's rap clearly indicates the love story between two women, if I am being exact, it can be interpreted as lesbian love & sex and the confusion behind their love stories... It can be connected to Christianity in various ways... In Soyeon's rap, "If this is a sin, then I will pay the Piper" , "Tastes like honey", "temptation" etc. are clearly referring to how homosexuality is seen as a sin in Christianity and how that limitation is confusing the main character from being in love with the woman she wants to... Soojin is the one who is trying to make them all evil by luring them with temptation. Soyeon eventually gives into this as seen at the end, because she keeps searching for love and such things from other people. Minnie however, also fights, but ultimately wins, as she finds it from within herself but it was a long battle. Shuhua is the purest form, an angel who can not be corrupted and who creates the positive things and love. 2:20 Soojin, the devil, the form of evil, whispers to her 2:35. We see Soyeon then reach for the sky towards a figure, (maybe Miyeon) possibly showing her seeking love from others. And we then see 2:40 that Shuhua (who was being whispered to by Soojin) has turned into Soyeon. We then see Soyeon trapped and defeated. We see Minnie tired and worn but she's no longer fighting, she has succeeded. *to be edited as I think of more ideas and explanations [such as for the soojin shuhua soyeon part i need to think about it]
