Something a little different this time. It's currently school holidays and I've been wanting to take my kids out for a 1 on 1 camping trip for a while now EDIT If someone replies to comments or something saying you have won a prize don’t respond. I’m not doing any giveaways and it’s not me 👍🏼

And hopefully be able to carry it on when they have kids!. Skills that you actually need and knowledge to feed yourself etc is so much more better for a child to know before they're older, gives them a respect for nature too but life long skills you'll never forget.

G'day Gido, you always get a thumbs +1 for including your family in the vids. The lessons you teach them today will be for a lifetime, she's already confident on the mic and knows a tasty fish when she sees one. Awesome mate, long may you live the good life!

Thank you for this perspective, Gido. As a man who didn't have a father or a mother growing up, this has always been a dream of mine. Going fishing with dad. I hope to give my children the same experience one day, one that I could never have myself. And I am sure that your kids will mellow out as they get older and become less camera shy. I think your son might make a great co-host or potentially take over your channel one day, once you're too tired too continue. Loved the video.

Even if you had one, he might not have any interest in fishing. Mine didn't, and he was indeed jealous of the father of a school mate, who was instead taking me with him. Life is strange.

This is one of my favorite in a while. Gonna keep you busy keeping this young child busy, great job dad. Some of my favorite memories are with my dad in the great outdoors here in North Carolina. Thank you GLBFA for sharing this fun trip and lifetime memory you and your child will never forget. No matter here or anywhere it is a father and child trip is what the outdoors sports are about. I think it’s the first time you caught a fish that I’ve actually caught myself the flounder. . Thanks again GIDO for sharing your trips and family with us all. Gods speed to you and yours. 🐟🎥💯👍🤴🏼& son.

I remember my five children at that age. Not much money at all but fun was free and exactly what you made of it. Travelling the school holidays in our motorhome we set out to to travel the whole of the Scottish coastline fishing every nice spot we saw. Got to say the West and North Coast of Scotland do seem similar to the sort of places you fish but without the spectacular species (or quantity) Australia has or the weather come to think of it. Scotland is famous for its scenery, midges and horizontal rain. 😊. You should have had a bit of fun and shown her how to 'tramp' for Flounders buried in the estuary sand. It an be quite productive. You did sort of unsettle me a little not making full and proper use of the kiddies life preserver though but that's the firefighter in me.

Neat vid Gido! We only had one boy, but every chance I got we were out camping somewhere even if it was in the backyard. Did I ever tell you about the time my boy and I were picking black raspberries to put in the pancakes for breakfast. My boy put his berries on the upturned log I was going to sit on. Yep, you guessed it. My boy had to go find some more berries while I changed my pants! Funny, the blackberries never tasted so good. We'll both never forgot that memory as we still talk about it 30 years later. Oh, btw I watch where I am sitting now when camping. 😃

Good too see you getting the kids involved. We were at the next inlet over last year kicking around in ankle deep water and picked up a huge flounder twice that size. The best/easiest way to handle them is to cook whole and peel the flesh off with a fork. The inlet west of this spot was loaded with kgw, pinky’s, silver bream and herring and much more be worth a camp down there
