The Leather Jackets are really nice eating. Skinned and headed they are called "Silver Flounder" in fish shops, because the dressed out carcass resembles the shape of a Flounder. To skin them you use a pair of pliers to pull the skin off, or your fingers if yer strong enough. Been over forty years since I've eaten one, used to catch them quite often as kids north of Perth. They like getting in craypots too.

It's not just the worms, it's their larvae you gotta worry about. You don't see em and you eat em and they eat you from the inside. leather jackets, especially those bigger ocean ones are delicious. When I lived at Bondi back in the 80s and everything was real expensive I literally survived on jackets

Yeh would be the battery for the mavic air 2s. My smaller battery pack I usually use for the GoPro went flat really quick so I took the big one down the cliff to keep things charging 😂🤦🏼‍♂️

Mate use Google maps? And be prepared to walk a lot. Safety first see how Guido is roped on, it's a dangerous coastline many have been swept from the rocks.

Try gull rock beach western side as protected from the easterly winds or someplace on the Vancouver peninsula. Plenty of kg whiting, squid something a bit bigger if you're lucky

Another great production. Honest question: why not skin your fillets before bagging and putting them in the cooler? Seems like most of the slime you mention is coming from the skin/scales left on?

Few reasons, mostly because I can skin them better at home. But on this occasion we used a boat to get back and if fisheries checked us the skin needs to be on for identification
