Maria, my heart. You're one of the most kind hearted people I've ever been exposed to. Even though I've never met you, I feel like the little pieces of consideration for others that come through in your videos is enough to inspire me forever. Changing to a vegan diet has completely cleared up my hormonal acne around my jaw line. It did take 6 months for it to completely clear up, but I have been struggling with minor acne for 8 years and I was so happy with the result that I've had just from eating differently. I hear ya though sister, it is a crappy issue to deal with. You're such a beautiful woman though, never forget that.

I struggled with horrible acne for 10 years until I discovered something that really helped me - checking all my makeup ingredients to make sure they aren't hurting my skin. I copy and paste all my makeup ingredients into a comedogenic ingredient checker to make sure there's nothing harmful. You'd be surprised how many products that claim to be non- comedogenic or made for sensitive skin actually have super harmful ingredients. Once I changed all my makeup/skincare products, I noticed a huge difference. Hopefully this can be a helpful tip 😊 I also wanted to say that I've been watching your ASMR videos for three years now, and they've helped me immensely! Thank you for everything that you do Maria!

I am an art history major in college and it would be so cool if you did a visual analysis of a work of art. Visual/formal analyses talk about aspects of a work and what they mean or communicate to the viewer. You also talk about iconography or symbols in the work and even the historical context. I can imagine it being so soothing to hear you talk about a work and pointing out things in it :)

Oh one more thing with regards to the acne - I have had exactly the same sort of thing, usually a seasonal peak when the weather changes. Deep under the skin and very painful :( Trying out new types of birth control can REALLY help - I used Dianette for 2 years (they wouldn't let me use it any longer), and it cleared me right up. Now I only get the occasional flare-up. And the other thing is (I know it's hard), but DON"T TOUCH YOUR FACE! It's so easy to pick, and it doesn't do any good at all. Much love! x

Hi Maria, I had the same problem with hormonal acne when I was your age. It's very normal and kudos to you for not being afraid to share it. The only thing that works for my hormonal acne is making sure I get at least 8 cups of water a day and usually a good deal more than that. It helps to calm things down from the inside out! Hormonal Birth Control made my acne go away, but it also made my acne worse like 5 months after going off of it. I started eating right and drinking kefir ( a lactose free/ milk based probiotic) every day. It clear my skin up after a few months. Birth Control can also mess with you stomach bacteria (especially in the withdrawal symptoms) and bad bacteria in your stomach can effect your skin on your face. Probiotics are the best!!

I'm so sorry Maria that you are going through this! Having acne is hard and embarrassing, and I know what it's like because I'm 17 and I have had acne for the past 4 years. I had big, giant cycts on my cheeks that were so embarrassing, especially at school, because I wanted to put a paper bag over my head because people would look at my face a lot. (Even when I wore makeup to cover it, you could still see them). I finally was put on Accutane from my dermatologist and I finished taking it last month and it wiped out all my acne on my face! I have acne scars left on my cheeks and I have to wait a few months for them to clear up naturally, but I hope that you get through this as peacefully as you can, and just know that a lot of us understand your situation and we love you so much. 💕😊

I'm SO glad you spoke about hormonal acne around your 30s! The past few years since I turned 30 I have horrible hormonal acne. I've tried EVERYTHING!!! It's so embarrassing and it leaves me with big welts on my face sometimes. My doctor told me to take some birth control too but I've been trying anything else because I just don't want to do that anymore. I think I'm going to have to just for a little bit because girl I can't keep single handedly keeping the concealer makeup manufactures in business like this lol! I'd love to hear you talk more about foods you like. Russian foods, natural foods. Anything like that. Or maybe talk about shopping you always have the cutest purses and things in general. 😁

I'm so sorry you've had that experience, I really hope it doesn't discourage you from making videos or doing vlogs because although it may sound a bit dramatic (hopefully not) I don't know what I'd do without your videos ^^; I used to have really bad sleeping problems due to nervousness and anxiety and stress but now I watch one of your videos every single night and have for the last 4 years :D ever since the beginning of college for me. It's part of my daily routine.
