I AM AMAZED!!! Last night I thought about how I would to watch a Q&A video from Maria, either on her Gentle Whispering channel or here on Sassy Masha. I am so happy!!!😂Thank you Maria! Hey Maria, I love your attitude on skincare, because a lot of people like to demonise chemicals in skincare, but everything is a chemical, water is a chemical, preservatives aren't bad and are there so your skincare doesn't go off after you open it once, so you go girl, use retinol, use what you want ❤

This is the best!! Also, I have an 11 month old...and girl...that newborn phase is no JOKE. Also, I put a little bassinet by our bed, but my baby hated that, and/or would wake up every 45 minutes forever, and I would also just wake up to check to see if he was okay if he *didn't * do that, and I only made it maybe 6 WEEKS doing that before bringing him in to bed with me (and kicking my husband out, unfortunately) I had to nurse him to sleep, and then he would stay asleep or wake up and latch if he needed to, and we 3 were able to actually sleep. The lack of sleep was truly killing me. Bringing that little newborn into bed was terrifying, but also necessary...not to mention natural, and there is plenty of literature about how to safely bed-share. I have read, and believe that the whole idea of separate sleeping and sleep training was developed by men in the 70s and truly the whole ideology isn't worth the paper these ideas are written on. But you are so right, when you follow your heart about what your baby/family needs, you will be right every time. Thanks for the authenticity Maria (also, retinol and retinoids 4eva!!! hahaha!)

I love Maria’s common sense. I love she’s learned not to buy in to the mass do’s & don’t’s of motherhood. I love that she’s realised not to try too hard with people who “don’t fit”& embrace those who do. I love that she is learning with such wisdom. It’s beautiful to see. Life isn’t easy, it’s quite a battle, with many pit falls, but if we are in a position where we can try to listen to our hearts, be true to ourselves, try to correct wrong negative thinking patterns, love a lot, learn to forgive, be respectful, compassionate & empathetic to all, search for spirituality & find the truth, then we can achieve a good measure of inner peace & happiness xxx

Did NOT realize how much he kept the men away from me and my sisters until then..and from people taking advantage of our family once he was gone. It’s been so hard seeing so many people saying how much only children miss out on and it makes me feel so much better when I see other families making that choice (obviously if you change your mind that’s ok too!) and being comfortable with it. Love you all!

I was raised an only child, and it was a wonderful childhood. I had so much attention from my parents even though they both worked, and it meant that I developed lots of wonderful and long-lasting friendships (I have many from age 4, I am now 17!) I feel you learn to be more independent, but also more creative. You become resourceful, and I feel often, better behaved because you’re not constantly arguing or fighting, and you learn to be more sensible more quickly. But at the end of the day, all kids are kids, whether they have ten siblings or none. Having loving parents is the best family they can be given. 💛

Right. I just found out I'm pregnant. And I always said I didn't want any children. But if I did have a child, I would only want one. There is so much pressure put not just on pregnant women or mothers, but just women in general. And alot of it does come from other women too. Sometimes it's like damned if you do, damned if you don't. But as long as you're happy and your child is happy, I don't think it matters what anyone thinks. I want to remember this if I ever feel anxious about societal pressures and norms. Sorry this rant is so long lol.

I totally felt your skincare response! It must work! I adore (and appreciate) the products that are natural AND that work, however I feel like people hear the word "natural" and automatically think "better." GRASS is natural, and yet not everyone can touch due to having negative reactions to it...Just because something is natural, does not always make it healthier. And often times, products created by trained chemists were made to reverse the negative elements of "nature." But to each their own, and I just hope that people use whatever works for them, whether that's natural products or one with chemical properties! If you're anything like me, it's a collection of both. Maria, you've got me ranting now, but I love it! You're the best!

As a westerner, I was super surprised when I traveled to Japan and saw how common co-sleeping is for parents. I suspect there could be a space rationale for a lot of people, but it's completely normal, and the kids there, by and large, seem to have turned out alright.

Maria, I’m sitting here with my glass of wine while dinner is cooking and my husband has the toddler outside. This week has been such a difficult one with said toddler. I KNOW that you know what I mean. So I’m so grateful you decided to upload this. You’re someone I wish I could hang out with in real life for real!

Hello Maria 🙋‍♀️, it’s so heartfelt to hear how you share your true emotions & thoughts with us , how mommies can sometimes stress on things that we shouldn’t need to be stressing because of what other people tell us. To hear you be honest knowing that something people can be rude and mean yet you bring so much awareness to mommies of how we don’t always need to go by what others may say on how we should be caring for our own babies, I really appreciate you so much because I feel like ur the voice to many mommies who are scared to even say half of what you just shared with us and that Speaks volumes about you in the most amazing way 🥰🥰... sending you positive waves of good energy your way Maria

I absolutely love this! As a mom of 2 who are 11 months apart, there is no true preparing for kids LOL. And with body positivity, my babies are 6&7 and I’m still learning to love the skin I’m in. It’s all a process and we should def be patient with ourselves ❤️

Only «child» here! A lot of perks to it. Just important to have close friends and family. I wish I got taught more how to be independent and also how to solve conflict and anger with others? Had no siblings to fight with so I am truly helpless when people confront me. Fun to be spoiled and to have my own space!

It's so hard being away from home and I could relate so much. When I was 21 I moved away to Australia for 5 years and I missed Canada so much. Every year I found holidays got harder to get through being away from my parents. I learned how to be on my own completely away from them and I didn't have that "security blanket". All my accomplishments and I didn't have them to celebrate with me. All the struggles and I couldn't have them around to support me. I've been back home for a while now and I appreciate the time I spend with my family so much more. My heart goes out to you and I hope you get to see your family soon!

I love Maria's take on body positivity. I recently started making an effort to be more active and it definitely makes me feel better about myself in many ways. I'm already pretty confident in my appearance and do not need to lose weight, but being active is healthy for my mind and makes me feel really proud that I've done something for my body to keep it strong and healthy.
