I did the same thing. My 3rd baby was so quiet. I went into school to get my other girls and the teacher asked where the baby was! I ran! She was fine but I went to the doctor freaking out. He said that it happens a lot more than people think. He told me to put my purse in the back with the baby and the baby’s bag in the front with me. Never forgot her again.

Eeek. Old school here. In underground airport parking picking up my hubby with a 2yo and newborn (maybe 2mo). Got out, got fussy toddler out (but dropped keys in her seat, and walked around to get baby out… locked in with keys in the car. Toddler starts crying, I have no cell signal under there to call anyone, start yelling for help. Not sure whether to leave the baby, run with toddler to find security or something and come back. Couldn’t break a window. Now running late for hubby. Ugh finally someone came walking out and we called security to break into the car (ironic). Horrible.

I visited the corn palace 4 years ago and it was an underwhelming attraction. ;) But my mom visited it almost 50 years ago so she wanted to go again. :)

If it gives Dude Dad hope for society, I wouldn't really have liked going to Disneyland or Universal Studios or wherever as a kid. I didn't like crowds or noise and I wasn't into roller coasters. My dad giving me a ride around the yard in a wheelbarrow would have been ideal for me.

Forgetting a child in the car is both scary and unbelievable dangerous. Baby car seats should have cell phone holder snapped in and people should have to put their phone in it whenever using the car seat - they would never forget the baby again. But this is exactly how accidents happen and children get left in cars in brutal heat.

While pushing my daughter on a swing I met a little boy at the park who had a robotic voice. I thought he liked robots and was pretending. His mom introduced herself- he swallowed a battery from the remote. They didn’t know. It had been in a his throat for 3 days. He developed flu like symptoms and that’s why they took him to the drs. His vocal chords are permanently damaged and that is now his speaking voice 💔

There's awesome venues all over the states that have great indoor/outdoor options!
