@@KyleBGanger I had the opposite experience. Almost every other shoe brand is making high heels with thin toes. FP and Remind offer insoles closer to a zero drop than the traditional skate brand.

I love when this dude discusses kicks. You could make a shoe channel and many of us would be there. I still need a pair of last resorts. I am a big Larry June fan and sneaker fan in general and grabbed his Lakai Telford model. Probably an odd choice for most "shoe people" /" sneaker heads" but they fit like retro OG high Jordans. I was pleasantly surprised they weren't hella puffy. Actually more on the narrow side. Lakai Telford in the world of Jordans and dunks is underrated. Probably a great skate shoe too. (I no longer skate)

_"Lakai Telford Reissues fit like retro Jordans."_ As a veteran sneakerhead who bought a pair of Telford Reissues to see what's good, that's a lie. There's a special place in the underworld for whoever designed that toebox. Because that's the only part of the shoe that makes all it's positives fall apart. I unfortunately never had the chance to own an OG pair but, just by looking at pictures of those, I'm going to put my bitcoin wallet on the line on OG Telfords actually being the alternative to SB Dunks.

I'm always weary when people say size down or a shoe runs large. Many companies (especially smaller ones) use the same sole size for two sizes. 10+11 may use the same sole but the uppers are different.

quality seems extra clear here, I'd love to see a leather hightop from them, the lows look great! I love skating dunk highs and jordan 1s. I used to get Dylan's leather slip ons a lot. There's just something about it, suede is like a shaved down leather byproduct so I feel like I get so much more with leather.

I love my Last Resorts. They skate very well and the rubber is super grippy. So far I don't really mind the stock insoles, since I don't skate a whole lot of impact anymore. But I do wish I could swap them out for other insoles easier if I wanted/needed to

so i got a few questions about these shoes: first, when your skateboard falls on ur toe does it hurt? its super annoying cuz rn i got nike sb shanes and theyre super thin so when my skateboard falls on my toe it hurts a lot. second, how accurate is the mondopoint sizing? how does ur heel-toe measurement match up with their sizing guide?

@@sutekaa does it hurt when your board hits the top of your foot/toes? Yeah a little, just like 90% of other shoes I've skated before, so it didn't really stand out to me much. They're just like most other "simple" suede shoes, it's not like they're a techy/padded shoe. Kinda similar protection to a Converse One Star imo. As for the sizing, they also remind me a little of Cons. I'd recommend buying a 1/2 size down from what your normal shoe size is. That's been the case with me, and 2 friends that have also skated Last Resorts. And like I said the insoles are very basic, but they're pretty easy to remove and swap out with different insoles. Hope this helps!

Es og accels are the only shoes I can skate , they provide the most protection for my feet. Also very comfortable and durable. They look a bit clumpy but I don't give a toss

I’ve always enjoyed Dr. Scholls insole the regular ones not the sport ones. Since they’re thin I just put them on stock insoles and they feel just as good sometimes better than pop Cush and fp insoles. Im not a high impact skater but it’s been easy on my knees and ankles

Canvas shoes are great when it’s hot. I go to Puerto Rico frequently to work, and my first trip made the mistake of bringing suede shoes. No breathability and trapping a lot of heat because of that. Now I’ve got my canvas pair waiting for whenever I go. Maybe I’ll give these last resorts a whirl when the others are finished.

Great video. I find the easiest way to take the insole out is to leave them sitting on a radiator for a couple of hours until the glue is practically melting and then they just come straight out. I've never microwaved them, but surely that won't do a good job of softening the glue. I skated them with Footprint Kingfoams for a bit but then I had a session with the original insoles in and I actually think they're not too bad. I'm only a UK size 8 though so maybe they scale differently and the insoles are effectively thicker in a smaller shoe?
