Watching on replay. I love the light blue dress shirt - that will look very nice for a date night. I absolutely understand your thoughts about moving the kids away from the changes in your area but don't do too much for the kids - they need to learn about earning their way because they will appreciate and learn to work hard and care for things in a totally different way. You have wonderful boys and raised and supported them so well. You are such a good dad.

You are so nice to offer your family a choice to build homes on the JL ranch and they can rebuild and not have to worry about the floods and all the crimes going on around them and the safety of those precious children .I would not want to live around all that and I can't understand why anyone would get mad at you for your decision.

I live just south of chicago. I totally understand. I worked 5 min. from home in chicago and retired at 66 because I was attacked and robbed in the last 3 years at my job that I worked at for 37 years. I dont like going out for the fear of getting carjacked.

Lester I am 65 and my Mother is a young 85. Your parents will always be your parents and my Mom will always be “my Mom”. She checks in on us as regular as we check up on her. She has our whole life and will continue to always be as caring and concerned about us always. Anyone who doesn’t understand this or isn’t as fortunate as us or your kids I truly feel sorry for them. Your concerns are so very valid and you are most definitely a very caring father, son, brother, etc. I would be constantly worried under the circumstances you have been describing. I’d be a nervous wreck!!

Lester, l can honeslty say, i had no idea Plum Grove was that bad. I am truly truly sorry to hear that. Whenever l pray for the Morrow family, i always envision in my imagination, a company of Angels encircling the property,, keeping the families safe. Its just something in my imagination but I pray that its really true. I absolutely L💙ve the idea of all the families living close by. With my family, it would be a nightmare! Lol! With your family, it sounds like a beautiful idea. It's good to keep your options open & it's something the young people ( some future parents) to think about.

We are experiencing much of the same things as Plum Grove. Not the flooding, but all of the people including non-documented illegals. The town I live in was 2,000 in population, now probably at least 3,000 and they are building over 200 new houses in the area. It has changed so much, but I don’t know where I can move….. struggling with this for a time now.

IMO and I usually remain neutral, A 50 acre Estate is plenty to accommodate 3 homes and the animals . That's big enough for a subdivision of a hundred ½ acre tract homes. Or 50 1acre homesites .

I understand completely Lester about safety of kids and grandkids. Where I'm at I live in a Apartment. There's a road in front of building also beside. Last year they're was 2 boys behind building throwing rocks and hit my French door's. I live on bottom floor ,there is no light's in the back. Love your videos Lester. Keep up with what your doing. I perfectly understand about moving. Things change. Plus, you just created the sanctuary in the last 7 years. Moving it to a safer place is not quitting, it is giving animals their best life. Why stay in an unsafe place - socially and topographically?? Leaving LHL is also not a surprise. The erosion scares me. The highway at J&L scares me too. You need to do what you think is best!!

I hear you loud and clear. I am in the same position as you are. I live out and my kids are in the city. At one time it was nice, I raised my kids there, but now crime has taken over. My kids want ME to move back. I will not do it even though I am single and 79 years old. When I hear gun shots, I know it's hunting season. . I only have 6 acres in the middle of 150,000 acres of forest, down a dirt road and I love it!! Love y'all and all you do. God bless. Keep me in your prayers to remain strong.

I feel as you do. I would find a way to protect my children from all that you are experiencing there by morrow hill. To have been blessed with long horn lesters and JL I would jump at the chance to provide peace and safety for my children and grand children. We all must accept change and adapt to it. People are afraid of losing what you have created.
