Gigabeef, something that i think will make for a good video for you. Unmodded, particularly IRON SIGHTS are actually very useable this patch due to the recoil camera changes. In patches previous, many iron sight full auto guns like the M4 were literally UNSUSABLE as the player didnt even properly line up the sights with the aperture. Now this has been fixed and i have been running many raids with a standard m4 with a 10 inch barrel and suppressor with iron sights. People are always surprised to see me with a gun with such little modification and even more surprised when they see how little recoil it has.

The RPK has stellar iron sights as well. I like the 10k Walther MRS sight though, and 10k is essentially nothing.

@@gavinray9493 The red dot sights sway with movement. For me best budget sight is Krechet, followed by the PK-120 because it obscures more of the view. Just 4k more than a Walther MRS but it's basically the same as a 40k Eotech.

Vector .45 drops PMCs 1-2 clicks center body mass using the 2 round burst. The 2 rounds are like an AN94 as recoil does not effect your second round with the high fire rate and low recoil. 30 rounders are better than high round mags because Vector reloads quickly AND mags pack faster than any mag in the game. I literally empty a mag slower than I reload it. That’s a huge advantage in timed raids. I bring 300 .45 ACP and never feel like my mags are emptying.

I used various 5.45x39 rounds I picked up until Trader 2, then ran the VSK until Trader 3, then ran 7.62x39 PP until Trader 4, now running mostly M80/whatever seems fun. I quite liked the feel of ammo progression this wipe, it never felt like I was incapable of dealing with PMCs at any point- mostly I think due to the Flea restrictions limited people to Trader gear for a while. The standout surprise for me was the VSK, a gun I never ran before but came to really enjoy. Having SP-5 so early is great for early game progression to get over that hump until you unlock something with decent pen. Shoutout to military camp on Woods, definitely got me through early wipe. There are so many nooks and crannies that spawn high quality ammo that no one ever checks, like the guard towers. Can't tell you how many boxes of PPBS, flechette, or 55A1 I pulled from there, even super late in raid after the camp had been looted by PMCs and Scavs.

I wish I got to enjoy the VSK as much as you have though SP-5 kept letting me down even early on. However the VSS/VAL with SPP slaps even geared bois with ease. Totally agree about PP too. Hope you keep enjoying your wipe!

You can also take the rear leaf sight off of the SVT for god tier irons that are basically as good as a red dot sight PS that hellofresh transition was adorable

I'm new to tarkov and have been trying out every gun and last night I made a budget AK104 with a one times sight and I was genuinely surprised by how good it felt to use the gun. I I survived multiple raids with PvP and eventually looted a specter and actually gotta kill with full auto spray at full magnification. Very enjoyable to use it

I used the svt with the pu scope and t46 ammo for punisher 4 and was able to get all 10 of my pmc kills in only a few hours and I usually never play lighthouse, it’s honestly a super fun and strong gun for casual players

I usually just use the Vector 45 or the Ref P90 with so-so flesh rounds and aim for heads. If they have face protection, then shoot kneecaps. Other people in the group have longer range or more well-rounded options, but I can still spray at intermediate range and trigger a lot of heavy bleeds before pushing. I find that I end up spending most of my budget on rounds anyways, so it's hard to be budget with several mags full of AP when you end up using it on scavs or dying. The guns at least come back often.

It’s kind of universal for rifle ammo, except for 7.62x39 (in my experience), but PP is on the flea for that caliber. Smugglers camp on Shoreline is a must scav location for ammo.

mp9 absolutely rips, if youre a kedr enjoyer its a nice option, also the bakezy book barter for the fully modded 1075 rpm uzi for 37k comes with holosight, if you sell the tan holo on flea its literally free (the price has been dropping), regarding the aksu builds, loot and strip the modded scav saiga 9s for parts and put them on pp19/aksu for near meta ergo builds rfb is solid but i find they always get looted as theyre so small without the mag and youll end up spending more on scope/suppressor, excellent for slinging m80s tho, vepr hunter fraud cannon might be an alternative

I exclusively run SP7 when I run a Kedr B, my preferred factory gun. I will also run it confidently in pvp as the build is so cheap, you can buy 500 rounds per reset and its less than 200 roubles.

For 9x18, there is also PstM, which is almost as good as PBM, but much cheaper and the personal limit for it is ludicrous. I like to load these under PBM.

I think that, as long as you can purchace flechette from Jager, honestly the mp153 is a pretty good budget blaster. Spamming 8+1 into somebody in what feels like fractions of a second hits like a freight train and unless you're at distance or theyve got class 6 they're probably not living through your initial volley

MP-18 WITH PILAD FOR SBIH, carry it ontop of my loadout, never picked up on insurance and runs about 40k a raid. Throw some t46 in it and you'll have it done before you know it

Best performance for low cost = shoot in the head. Due to hands piercing/armor bugs in game right now , armor piercing rounds kill nothing. I litteraly have clips when the guy survives 19 shots 55A1 into 4+3 armor , or 26 shots LPS GZ 762 54, because tanky hands. The bug is - if bullet hit hands and pierce them , the bullet loses all its penetration, at the point when SNB or BS 762 54 or m80a1 do not pierce even UNTAR armor after hiting hands.

Since your an Ak-104 fan.. with Ref 3 unlocked you have cheap M80 so i tried using it and had some success with the SA58. It's about 150k for 50 ergo and 109 recoil. Not that great on distance but in CQB you hit like a truck. Lowest i can get it is 95 recoil for 190k but i find 109 recoil usable. The gun is really undervalued i think.

No mention of 556 SOST ammo? It's better than M855 and fills in the gap to 856a1 for bottom of mags. Same with 545 pp

It's barely better and harder to obtain. SOST is around double the price of M855 on the flea for what? SOST is likely to kill against class 4 on shot number 4 while M855 is likely to kill against class 4 on shot number 5. SOST also has slightly more recoil. I just don't think it's worth it, you might as well just jump to M856A1 if you're even considering SOST and don't already have it in your stash.

I used AK 74U quite a bit this wipe and have retired it. It's the horizontal recoil that makes it so bad. Even with waffle suppressor it's no good. Just use something else like AK12 or AK-74M if you want to use that calibre.

The AK-103 can benefit from the -3% recoil TRAX 1+2 combo from Mechanic LL2. Slap along an RRD-4C and a grip of choice and you're ready to ruin someone's day haha. Good video as always Gigabeef!

The MP9-N is the best 9mm in my opinion as it is cheap, eats armour like a vector with pbp, with low recoil and high firerate, only needing a suppressor, delta point and flashlight. The uzi pro gets expensive when modded, and the mp9-n is cheaper overall.

The RFB is cheap, absolutely slaps, and has good cheap ammo on flea. Like a M700 that you can semi with 20 rounds per mag.

They dont damage pvp. The fact that people can unlock and buy m855a1 and other good ammos are the ruin of pvp, campers melt your t5 ammo with 3 shots and u can fight back, thats why early wipe is fun because skill matters and not "oh i have op ammo i spray randomly and people dies in a second"

I really don’t think default uzi can be justified over the pro variants, doing the bake easy barter makes it extremely cheap with usuable attachments and you get a gun with way more firepower 600 rpm just isn’t enough when using ammo that is locked to aiming for headshots.

I'm still at trader 2 and finding it pretty frustrating honestly: there's no OK ammo from traders for basically any caliber and everyone is running lvl 4 armor or better, so your only option is basically to go for faces and legs unless you can afford ridiculous fleamarket prices for decent ammo. Since you have to hit faces anyway I have been using a lot of 5.45 long AKs: I often run HP since nothing available has any pen anyway but HP can one-shot legs (or faces, of course). I just try and play like I'm using a bolt-action: be sneaky and patient and try and get the headshots. Overall this game still feels real hard.

If you're at Prapor 2 you can buy SP-5. The velocity is terrible so sniping will be quite difficult but at short range it'll tear through class 3 and get through class 4 with enough hits. Far more reliable than aiming at legs with 5.45 HP or something.
