GigaByte Control Center Install

Hi All here is a how to install GCC if the Program is not working properly, just follow my guide as per the video and reinstall it via this link below

This will install the latest Version as per the date you install as the site keeps updated with the latest Version of GCC. Again please if you have anymore idea's on what you wana see next I'll try my hardest to make it happen :)

Every time I start up my pc the rgbs go back to rainbow wave. Is there a way to keep the color I choose? Is that normal? Sorry new to PC still figuring things out thanks

I have uninstalled this software after i saw it automaticaly created a user in my Windows. The downside is that i have to manually download any firmware directly from the Gigabyte website and i can´t control the LED of 3 of my case fans. But it´s a small price to pay for not having such an invasive piece of SW in my PC.

I did another video on this about it installing a new Profile not great tbh. Regarding firmware i like to do this manually and not through a add on like GCC :) thats just me though :)

I cannot access the update center, it shows the "please wait" screen for like 10 minutes at this point

Hello, I'm having problems with the Gigabyte Control Center software, the software freezes when the PC wakes up from sleep mode, I can't do anything with the software, I have to close it through the task manager or wait until it responds, the strange thing It is that it only affects the lighting of the RAM (Aorus) that stays off. I can't find a way to solve it. Somebody could help me?

At first, my gigabyte can detect my ram rgb, but after I installed Armoury Crate for my keyboard, the GB not detecting my ram but Armoury detect it. Also some feature in GB suddenly gone. I want to control rgb light from GB not armoury, because armoury can only control my keyboard and ram. Is there a way to fix this?

Good day, I have gigabye g5 mf5 and the Control center I downloaded doesn't have any general settings like keyboard effects, fan speed, etc. It only has the SSD tool. I checked the Information tab and it only says "No available updates". Can somebody help me

This software is weird when it comes to fan curves. It seems to do weird things when it comes to my CPU as well, I get big spikes when I'm doing light stuff and then when I go in to this software it's like the fan curves aren't working properly, will prob uninstall it and try bios fan curve instead. All I have read about Gigabytes software is bad things. Their APP center and SIV don't work either. All I want is fan curves for my CPU so I don't have to deal with the fans ramping up and down when they dont need to...

Use Argus Monitor, i have my fans all linked up to 2 headers, so i can ramp up and down as i want, right now there spinning at 800rpm with no noise but i have a built water cooled system

@@gtekks Thanks for the suggestion, I looked it up and it seems people have mixed experiences with Argus monitor also. I think I'll just try setting in BIOS because I don't want to risk any more potential issues with software.

The newest one, it does what the hell it wants here too! Auto-AI is off. Rgb is off. Yet still fan changes speed-setting by itself 10x a day. Rgb randomly pop into rainbow mode. Why even we have a rgb with rainbow, blinking, alarm-blink-arb, alarm-blink-rgb 2x speed, a virtual Alarm-siren as rgb keyboard. But i fucking cant control the lightning of 1 button different ? and if i set it all to one colour....in 1 week it sets itself at least 30x to what ever it wants. Great when u get a totaly broke Beta-softwar FORCED on you.

something aint liking the install, could be anything that causing it to freeze, prob need to have a good Troubleshooting day and see if you can find the problem. one way would be to to a reload of OS

personally id take GCC off, and use Afterburner to correctly set up the GPU. there is also other stuff you can use to control RGB, even stuff that works with Gigabyte kit :)

I have Gigabyte g5 mf laptop and its control centre doesn't have any effect will it provide any effect as the laptop hardware is clearly capable because whenever I boot my laptop it cycles through different colours but after that it remains static 😢 .If anyone know solution for this please share 🙏

I did some intsalls it wanted me to do but then my pc bugged out and it now cant't dectect one monitor and on the one it detects the resolution is way off and can't be fixed in windows settings and AMD settings dosen't show a tab for display.

Something similar happened to me with a Windows update or maybe it was another update in the background. Check and see the driver that your GPU is using. Personally what I did is go to Device Manager and go to my display adapter and I rolled back my GPU driver. When it happened to me I tried to restart, shut down, and go through the windows settings to switch my resolution and the options were all greyed out. Device manager said it was using the generic driver. So I would reinstall the graphics driver to see if that fixes it.

@@sunewjenkuzo2835 Thats not a bad idea. Especially if you are controlling your cpu and gpu fans and RGB without the software. Mine is controlled by GCC so yea. Things should not be this difficult especially when you have an entirely new desktop.

Can you try uninstalling it. Then installing again..?? Versions and plug ins change all the time. Or try signalRGB

If you have Gigabyte Hardware installed, try use there software, but strip it right back to what you only need, there is other things available ONERGB but how they are written is unknown and they interact with certain hardware, so MSI or ONERGB lighting stuff might work with Gigabyte or it might not, so stick with what's available for the hardware only, try not mix and match :)
