You have to be one of the few, if not the only reviewer i have seen, that shows performanse as pure raster and then with DLSS on. Goes to show that for people like me, who don't want to upscale their games, this card is offers similar or sometimes better performance (though marginally) with the RTX 4080, but where i live the 7900xtx is around 250 euros chearer than the RTX 4080 and around 400 euros cheaper than the RTX 4080 Super. Plus, not 12volt adaptor cables needed.

I got my GPU today and tested it in MW2 and Hogwarts legacy and junc temps are not going over 81 at 2000 rpm which is way better than ASROK variant which was hitting above 100 degrees. Thanks for your video and it helps me making my decision

I love this card already got it almost two mounths for realy good price:) i am running it at 2613mhz 375wats limit, gigabyte cooler is realy amazing just an year and mounth ago 3070ti has the same price here.. so I cant complain about skipping last two generations , I had 1660ti it was an big bug upgrade.

People are weird, the problem is every person can make and post video, without any knowladge... they just buy card plug it in and thats it. airflow, drivers settings unchecked, bios old then they are starting to test gpus , doesnt even care about its amd cpu oe intel cpu platform... then boom panic videos... as i was nvidia user for long time mostly becouse of i targeted good products of their lines people are still AMD- bad , Nvidia - Good. Thats kinda old and completely dump metric we are no longer in Vega gpu era ( bad times amd) or geforce FX era before.( bad times of nvidia)

It's nice to see the ASRock Phantom Gaming 6900XT in this test. I have that card, and it's no slouch, but that said, the 7900XTX blows it out of the water. Looked like average FPS gain was around 30+ in most games,as high as 60fps gains. I've been eyeing the XTX for a while. Might have to pull the trigger.

It's temps are very similar to other next gen GPUs. The vapor chamber makes a huge difference on these cards

You might be able to get away with the PSU but it would be pushing it. I would recommend getting a new PSU as well then you would be fine

I'm having a pretty bad Hotspot Delta (Difference between Hotspot Temp and Overall Temp) with my Gigabyte RX 7900 XTX OC. Do you have any information what hotspot temps you get in comparison with the overall temps? Would love to know if this is a general issue with the model.

at what speed were you cooling? I'm at 60c right now and I'm not playing anything. my cooling is set to auto.

At idle it should be 30-40 and i set it to 75% when testing. Try setting it where if it's at 60°c then your fan speed should be at 60%

I didn't record the junction temps and that's odd and unfortunate. So far all the next gen cards I have tested have had amazing temps

Update: abit of tweaking with the fans and got the fans to start running at 50% from the start really tamed the GPU. And kept the button on silent mode of course. 👌🏼 gigabyte gaming OC is amazing and the hotspot temp is between 72-80 max.
