I like how Gigabyte is able to produce multiple designs of their graphic cards, there is white with RGB logo, black with RGB logo, there is even one RTX 3060 with RGB fans, then those for water cooling with radiator/fans or without included radiator. Seems that white colored GPU we can choose only from Asus, Gigabyte Vision and then Zotac, unless I missed any. Are you designing new PC set up?

@@thomasellis1622 That is going to be tough decision, they both have similar price tag. Radeon RX 6600 XT might have few percent better performance, but RTX 3060 has DLSS which can boost FPS in games. The look and sentiment is what might add some points to final decision.

I was having trouble deciding but I think you’ve just made up my mind. Because of the DLSS I think I’m going to go for the 3060. Unless it goes back up to normal price because it’s usually $839 AUD but right now it’s $659 AUD. I’m building a new PC at the end of the year.

I was looking to upgrade and was thinking about the ASRock RX7600 SL 8GB GPU as it comes in white (like my PC build) and is available for $399CAD. Depending on where you are it may be cheaper. Thank you for watching. Your RTX 2070 Super has still 20% better performance than RTX 3060 and 6% better performance than RTX 3060 Ti, so you might either stay on RTX 2070 Super or consider upgrade to RTX 3070 and higher. What games are you playing on your PC set up?

Without load I'm getting in average 410MHz GPU clock and 270Mhz Memory clock, temperature is 29,3 Celsius, board power draw is 13,5W and GPU chip power draw is 6,7W. Now under heavy load by playing games: max GPU clock is 1987MHz, max memory clock is 1875Mhz, max GPU temperature is 63 Celsius, board power max draw is 163,8W, GPU chip power max draw is 140,7W. What values are you getting?

You will need to use all power connectors for card to function properly.

For Lian-li Strimer with 2x8 pin connector you will leave one 2 pin on cable not connected (so both 8 pin and 6 pin connectors on GPU will be connected), just leave the 2 pin on cable hanging down under the gpu.

Thank you for watching. Ryzen 7 5700G is a very good CPU to combine with Gigabyte RTX 3060 Vision. On other side the Ryzen 5 5600G has for sure better value for the price in combination with Gigabyte RTX 3060 Vision. You will probably get very similar game performance on both Ryzen 7 5700G and Ryzen 5 5600G with minor ~5% difference, which will be better on Ryzen 7 5700G. What games are you planning to play?

hi, I know this question wasn't for me but I still have to answer.. It's about the G - series, they are great, yea you have a bit better specs then the "basic" one, but that's bacause the frequency is also including the GPU, if you're having a good GPU please don't go into the G-series.. I would recommend the "basic" or the X - series of the CPUs because there goes all the power to CPU things (+ you don't have problem with 2 GPUs)

On Intel I've actually went for CPU with integrated GPU as I've been building the PC when there were no GPUs available on the market, so integrated GPU was kind of handy. Also for case when I get black screen, it might be useful to switch to integrated GPU to see if the issue is not "only" with GPU, but that might be just paranoia to have redundant solution :D Are you looking for an upgrade of your GPU?

Thank you for watching, there were two main reasons why I have chosen this card and not other, even though the cards from top brands perform almost same: 1) I liked the design - color as well as functional - the fans positioning and rotation which assures better air flow and cooling, 2) reliability - when RTX 30xx graphic cards appeared on market there were few which kept crashing and the only difference which could have been spotted as difference were the capacitors and Gigabyte was using better quality capacitors - this reason now might be more like a brand sentiment as top brands graphic cards won't be crashing due to HW issues.

Second option, which is more time consuming, is to remove the half of the cables from Lian-Li Strimmer and leave only one 8 pin connector cable inside the Lian-Li strimmer, centered to the middle.

Hi, the 3060 and 3060Ti look very identical, but you will be able to recognize it by number of power connectors, where 3060 has one 8 pins connector, whereas 3060Ti has two connectors - 8 pins and 6 pins connector. Hopefully it helps and thank you for watching!

NEVER remove the plastic covers while your parts are already installed in the PC... Yes, even if your PC is turned off and yes it will still pop even if you have ESD gloves, bracelets or whatever. I just fried my entire PC by doing that - WHILE HAVING ESD GLOVES ON and while my PC was grounded... Sooo,yeah... Taking off those case, RAM and GPU plastic covers creates a SHIT TON of static electricity and if you create an ESD aka. detonate the static charge that built up, you can say good bye to your entire PC or if you're lucky only a certain part...

@@ottomixa no my entire pc got fried and i couldnt get refund on any of the parts because its... well... my fault.... even the usb ports on the case were fried are are not wroking anymore and it wasnt even that big of a zap....... also my monitor was also plugged in and it works fine but 2 of the 4 buttons dont work now... i had to order everything except for the cpu cooler, once again and since i already spent thousands, i just said fk it and spent 3.4k on the new pc build and 1.4k on the new eizo monitor

I've been patiently waiting for coming it into stock by setting up alerts on multiple local retailers' websites, refreshing page few times a day, similar to what is described here: www.pcgamer.com/where-to-buy-a-graphics-card/ . I can see that full hashrate version is out of stock now and only RTX 3060 12G LHR or RTX 3060 Ti 8GB LHR versions are offered going forward. Possibly mine was from old restock. Would LHR version satisfy your gaming set up?

That's nice set up. Possibly if you would have an option to sell RTX 2060 and get RTX 3060 for just few bucks, then yes it might be worth from financial point of view. From performance point of view you might get only about 8% better performance.

Hi @Lloyd, yes it will work on LGA 1151 motherboard, I have old PC with GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS MASTER - Intel Z390 and it works there. The card is PCI-E 4.0 x 16, but it is backward compatible with PCIE 3.0. Are you thinking about upgrade your current graphic card?

The only difference is in core clock frequency, where Gigabyte RTX 3060 Vision OC 12G has max core clock frequency 1837 MHz and Gigabyte RTX 3060 Eagle OC 12G has max core clock frequency 1807 MHz, which is little bit lower, but it won't make any noticeable difference. So possibly design might be the only factor to choose between these two. What graphic card do you currently have and planning to upgrade from?

Upgrade of GTX 1080 to RTX 3070 Ti would be better, but it depends on your budget as it will be little bit more expensive than RTX 3060. With higher budget you could keep considering even RTX 3080, or RTX 3080 Ti, and with almost unlimited budget RTX 3090 or even RTX 3090 Ti :-) What game are you planning to play on it?

I have combined it with 11th gen CPU, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus motherboard and Seasonic Focus power supply, more details in one of upcoming video, so stay tuned. However nowadays I would probably recommend 12th gen Intel CPU, Asus Z690 motherboard (in case you want to reuse cooler from previous gen) or Gigabyte Z690 with new cooler and for power supply I trust Seasonic 650W(or higher wattage as you can reuse it in case of upgrade).

I have one old Seasonic 520 Watts PSU and also I had Seasonic 750 Watts, but I have sold that one to buy Seasonic 850 Watts to be ready for upgrade to RTX 3090 or RTX 4080. Good power supply can last for many Years and can be used in many PC upgrades, if the Wattage is high enough.

It might also depend on your case, CPU cooler and temperature within the case. For me the temperature inside the case is fairly normal as I have liquid cooler which does not keep the heat inside the box as seen on following video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqHIoHSYbamAr7c

I have not been disassembling the card to find out, however if you are interested in information if the card crashes, as some reviews have been suggesting one year ago and reviewers were thinking it was due to VRAM, I can assure you the card does not crash. The crashes reported one year ago were most probably due to NVidia drivers which were not fully developed/fixed yet.

@@skaolax1754 HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2000a seems to have integrated AMD Radeon Graphics card within CPU, but it also has PCI Express Gen 3 x16 expansion slot where you could plug in the RTX 3060. However the default power supply unit - "180 W Smart AC power adapter" is insufficient and you will need to upgrade that one first, please check 6:31 of this video for PSU requirement-550W for AMD Ryzen 5. To upgrade your PSU first you will need to check your warranty if you can open the case and then you can do some measurement. While having the PC case open you can check at 2:55 of this video for measurements of this RTX 3060 card to find out if it will fit. RTX 4060 which will be released next Year might not fit and will need even higher wattage PSU. Seems like it would be bigger project to upgrade PSU and GPU.

@@ottomixa I have a ready power supply that is 650 W , my warranty expires on 11/25/22 which is near my birthday and when I'm going to order 3060 , I have Ryzen 5 5600g . @@skaolax1754 Before buying RTX 3060 please ensure the PSU you've got is going to fit in as I believe your case has special shape of the bay for the PSU. Air flow might not be perfect, but if it gets too hot and will keep shutting down, then you might be able to mount extra fan on the mesh grill of left side cover. However I'm looking to HP video about replacing the parts in HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-000 and seems that HDD might be preventing you to fit in the GPU card, you might really measure it first before buying RTX 3060.

Thank you for watching. Gigabyte RTX 3060 Vision and Gigabyte RTX 4060 Aero are both very nicely designed budget friendly graphic cards with good performance for gaming. If you have a chance to go with Gigabyte RTX 4060 Aero, then it might be slightly better with DLSS 3 feature for higher frame rate in games which support it, which soon might be majority of new games.

@@ottomixa Where I live, we have plenty of cards available, but the prices are stupid. I think the 'chip shortages' is fake and bs to justify insane prices. True there *was* a 'chip shortage' but its been more than 2 years now and cards are available, but stores still charge the same prices. Its all working out well for them because people are just desperate.
