Gigabyte i have a suggestion could you just reverse the hoses make it go through the gpu PCI slots in the back and run up the back of the case that way you have access to the io and have a nice clean look in the front I hope you take my suggestion into consideration thanks

Just to explain my self better the 2 PCI slot that the gpu takes up should be used for the hoses that go up the back end

Yes have it come in 2 parts the gpu is one and the aio is the other (still buy it together though) just have quick disconnect fittings on the back

That would be nice or what i would like to see is two way SLI connected to a single dual 120 rad. That way people will be able to run a dual 120 in the top for there cpu and a dual 120 in the front of there gpu's if there case supports it.

What I want to see from the waterforce is modular cooling, series radiators to combine cooling, and quick disconnects. The ability to run only two tubes outside the case would make things a lot easier for routing and case aesthetics. I do believe that running a single 120mm radiator could work with the small amount of heat these cards are putting out, but the ability to add more radiators, or connect the system to a custom water cooling loop would help tremendously for serious custom builders.

Hit it right on the head, single card self contained water cooling. Love the idea NZXT brought to the table on the "shroud" idea but I've read a lot of the issues with the VRM brought to high temps. All-in-one all-included single gpu water cooling!

I think it is great that Gigabyte is taking the criticism well and is trying to use it constructively to improve their products. Obviously they realised that they had missed a few things with the waterforce, so hopefully we will see some changes with that and maybe some different configs with single, dual and maybe another triple product. Many companies that make a product and receive as much criticism as the waterforce received would have rejected any new ideas and/or blocked any more communication with that particular reviewer (thinking Antec with another KZbinr :P ) which really should be how companies should approach issues with their products. Kudos to Gigabyte. :)

I think the best configuration for a Waterforce card would be a single card with a 120mm rad, but if possible to have the pump not built into the waterblock (maybe on the radiator side similar to the antec cpu loops) with standard G1/4 fittings on the card so you still have the option to include it in a custom loop later down the line.

***** MKBHD Austin Evans LinusTechTips Unbox Therapy Why have you guys all been doing the same products? There's gotta be absolutely tons of stuff on the floor at CES, but every channel I follow has had the same 3-4 things. MSI, Razor, and Gigabyte. Is there nothing more innovative this year? I'm not saying the quality of the videos is worse, or anything... It's just the constant re-hashing of the same gear that seems a little lame. There's a ton of KZbinrs there. Couldn't you guys parse out the tech and work more on your specific strengths and niche products?
@wawaweewarice5302
@wawaweewarice5302 9 жыл бұрын
No they're not doing the same things and why are you associating mobile tech channels to LTT and JTC. Useless to tag them for no reason. Linus and Jay has done PLENTLY of different reviews of CES items, the difference is that all of it was about PC hardware, because THEY ARE PC HARDWARE CHANNELS -_-
@sbrazenor2
@sbrazenor2 9 жыл бұрын
Wawaweewa Rice I'm seeing the same coverage on several of the channels. A post will pop from one of them with a product and then an hour later another channel will have the exact same product. Then later that day, another post with that same product. It's kind of silly. I know that many of these guys know each other, so maybe they should coordinate better to show a wider spread. CES is supposed to have cool new gadgets and interesting tech (even things that we know will flop). Instead, most of the coverage is about 'safe' stuff, like Intel's new chipset, or cases and liquid cooling, or the $100 console concept. Seeing another version of a GTX980, or a laptop with last year's desktop chipset isn't extremely mind-blowing. (Especially when someone else has already talked about it.) I guess I can't blame them. All of the other media outlets do the same thing. There could be 1000 stories, but 3-4 will get airtime, because they're the most dramatic.

SeanFromPVD not everyone is subscribed to both Linus and jay for example, so they won't be compromising just because they know someone else is covering it. In fact, there are probably over a hundred journalists and reviewers reviewing an item, it would be ridiculous to search something like gtx 980 and get only 1 result from 1 reviewer. There were some impressive things such as the broadwell ultrabooks, tegra X1, phones, audeze el-8, 360 cameras, and monitors

What i want to see in water force is you can buy the box on the top and each card separately like the evga water cool cards but the box has quick disconnect as well is the cards so you can have 1-4 cards as you go if you want to up grade the big box on top has a 360 rad 60 millimetre thick pre installed in it with the pump and every thing else in the box so when you buy the g-card it comes with the tubes and quick disconnect pre attached then you can plug and play

i want to see a nicely priced single card geforce 970 (or the 960/980 etc), with water cooling built on the board, fan should be blowing away from the board (fan in the middle of the board and radiator). and not eat too much space.... this will ease the way to mini ITX (mATX) gamers where we can only give watercooling to the cpu... keep it up jay great work on making them hear what we want...

I think they should put all 3 cards on one loop and hook that loop up to a 360mm radiator. It would be best to have that radiator inside the case, but if they decide to have the radiators in a separate unit then there would only be two tubes to deal with (quick disconnects would make those tubes easier to route as well).

I would really like to see a dual 970 with an expandable system using a decently think 240/280 rad. Not many mid range cases can support a 360 but I know my personal C70 can hold a 280 just fine. Also try to make it not come out of the case and if it must mount it on the back or the side simply due to height limitations with some systems. The reason I say dual 970s is price vs performance. They could probably mass produce a dual 970 with a 240/280 rad that was expandable for 1100 and they wouldn't be able to keep it in stock. I know I would buy one for sure.
@TheBigred0911

How about making it a modular system with a selection of rads for either internal or external mounting. Just put the pumps on the cards and have quick disconnects on the hoses and they can be connected to other cards or to rads so you can make a loop with multiple cards or a single card and have a few different rads like a 120 and 240 option for internal mounting, and maybe also the external option with that box to put ontop of the case if someone wants a more extreme setup.

There are two things I would like to see, one would be a video line up with our convention loop water blocks pre installed from people like EK, Danger Den ect and then a closed loop single cards. The most common multi gpu solution is dual cards after all, not to mention the amount of scaling lose you get with three cards you might have well just threw that money for the third card out of the window. Gigabyte: I second his suggestion of a single 120mm rad solution. If you were to sell that product with the same heat sink that the tri-SLI kit comes with, give us RGB LED lighting control, and more reasonably sized (length) tubing, then THAT would be a product worth investing in.

Why don't they do as you say 970 and 980 with a 120 or 140 rad, that's what most people would like. Me personally would buy a 970 specially if I could pump that heat out the back and not have it be as noisy as the blower style fans. And if they could get the heatsinks to take care of vrm and ram without an extra fan on the card that would be crazy cool...

Have the waterforce as one big loop, not three separate ones. And have a dual card option, since gain for three cards, is not worth the price to many. These both would make it cheaper Thus more will buy, and the later will make more even consider it. Also as somebody else said, have the hoses come out the back, even if it will require quick disconnects, or some awesome magic solution I can't ponder to make happen. Also have a waterforce type two, that is more like a CPU all in one, so completely case contained, like that evga card, but with a dual card model too ( make sure card distance from each other can still adjust to fit all motherboard the right way

I think Jay's idea is great, since what's the point of a big box for holding the fans and the rad? Just stick em inside the case. Also I do see an advantage of Gigabyte's waterblock design, since what I see is a baseplate that covers the whole card that has heatpipes running along it to transfer even the VRM heat to the AIO cooler it has stuck on to it, so it'll no doubt cool better than EVGA's solution which was to use a blower fan to cool the VRM.

if the waterforce will be available in parts, that could be a thing. so you can buy the cards with watercooling as a single item and if you wish, you can buy the box also as a single item. maybe different versions of the box, so one with two fans for two cards and the three-way one. and maybe another one, for those crazy floks who wanna have 4way sli. with all parts beeing a seperate item, upgrades are so much cheaper, since you only have to buy a new card, of course with the cooler on it.

My specs are: Intel i5 4690k 3.5ghz cpu 8gb of ram r7 260x gpu(fixing to take it back and switch out for r9 270x to try it out some) Just doing the main ones considering my question. Thanks! I know question is noobish im sure but would like to make sure everything is normal and fine.

Everything there is normal. Bf4 is a very cpu heavy game, just check your temps are not over 75degrees Celsius and you should be all good, as for your ram that is all fine aswell

I would like to see a normal card with a nice "Waterforce" waterblock and a Waterforce logo on the side. I don't like those AIO GPU coolers.

If Nvidia releases a gtx970ti or gtx980ti it would be totally cool to have a water cooled one straight from the box.

Water force but in a odd bay instead of on the top of the case would be good

granted the waterforce is kind of weird but a single GPU with a 360 rad would be good. Or the capability to add more watercooled GPU's later on using the waterforce but keeping the radiator maxed out at 360.

Yeah a 360mm rad on a gpu would not be the best investment but if your like going all out, ballin pc then that's a awesome idea

The thing is 3 grand. I think it should be the most ballen thing out there. You can do a thick alphacool 360 rad with 3 980s with waterblocks with a d5 pump with some tubing and a cheap res for around $2500 us. *Plus or minus the shipping components chosen and stores prices*. However, I forgot the fans and I didn't include a fan controller which could run off of a motherboard.

I have a question, i hope any1 could help me. I have a virus on my computer that does allow me to play games and do skype and that stuff, but litterly nothing else than that, but i was thinking if the virus is a program it must be stored somewhere, i was thinking the hard disk or the 8gb workspace thingy , so ig you replace the hard drive and the workspace, will the virus be cleared? (I hope some1 helps me it will save me a lot of money).

They usually attach their selves to the operating system in most situations, try a OS reinstall if its really bugging you, and try anti-virus, sometimes malware bytes picks them out well.
