Hey cool review! I got this monitor today and am very pleased with it. However i can install GCC (gigabyte command centre) but only the rgb options i see. I want to costumize the crosshair etc and i need osd sidekick ( which is included in the install) but nowhere to be found..are you facing the same problems?

Can you use DLDSR? Like using DSR factor 2.25x and run games internally at "4k" and use DLSS to downsample it back to 1440p. Apparently it is not possible with the DSC enabled (and there is currently no option to manually disable it).

Did you have any issues with eye strain or eye fatigue when using this monitor for extended periods of time? I had a MSI 271QPX (which uses the same QD-OLED panel as the FO27Q3), but I had to return it because it cause me so much eye strain.

It looks very warm in tone and the colours look blended in together, making it hard to see whats going on in OW2. The brightness doesn't seem as good too, very difficult to notice players quickly.

You’re probably getting color crushing from the wide color gamut. Just clamp to sRGB and you’ll be good. Brightness isn’t the greatest on OLED monitors right now so you’re kinda screwed on that

I hope this is better than the MSI model. I was going to get the MSI MPG 271qrx but it's been out of stock everywhere forever. Probably shouldn't sweat it though, as they're both amazing monitors and I shouldn't need to min max them since they're practically the same aside from firmware and design.

I have this model and I think they have practically the same display quality and anti burn-in features. Its just the MSI version has 90w USB-C charging while the Gigabyte only has 18w USB-C charging, but its not a huge deal. The gigabyte model does have 2 USB 3.0 ports while the MSI only has 2.0 ports. So its a trade-off

The only issues I have with it are g sync flickering on certain shades of gray, the screen can be scratched easily, and it has turned off randomly when gaming twice now (I have no clue why). I do not plan on returning it, it's about perfect but I need to figure out why it keeps turning off. I won't be using gsync or freesync.

Is there any black crush in SDR? If you could check on the lagom black test and let me know what's the lowest number square that's visible. I'm looking to upgrade my current OLED monitor simply because I'm tired of the crush.

The ASUS PG32UCDM has the best black level detail I’ve ever seen. sRGB-Cal mode targets the sRGB gamma and makes block 1 barely visible and Racing-sRGB targets a flat 2.2 gamma making block 1 only visible with your peripheral vision. Perfection!

thing is: the combination of a 27" panel with 1440p resolution is a rareity. i dont want a bigger panel oder higher resolution, since that would always force me to have higher tier gpus in order to have stable fps on 4k. and after 27, the next step is 32 which is a rather huge jump, that could force my desk setup to change (2x 27" monitors atm and the pc ontop of the desk). so this one is basically the only real good option right now. ofc there are 50 models to choose from, if you wanna go 4k and sure, you can play 1440p on a 4 panel, but it wont look good, especially, on a 32 inch panel. even running 1080p on my 1440p monitor, looks off a pixelated and i feel, that oled monitors in 27" wont become the norm

Did you have a chance to compare this monitor to it's bigger brother - the FO32U2P? I'm a 70% text reader/forumer and 30% video/gaming .. So, my main concern is the text clarity .. Heard the 4K 32 should have more sharp letters due to higher ppi, though not sure if it's the case ..

Nice vid, do you prefer the lg32gs 480hz @ 1080p mode full 32 screen, over this 360hz 1440p mode bro? This is my top two choice but I can only pick one 😅. For competitive fps.

Yo! I think I preferred the 360hz 1440p if we’re talking competitive gaming only. As an entire package my work and creative activities would have me leaning to the 32” display size and speakers on the LG. That said the 360hz 1440p still did everything single thing I needed so it’s an easy win. Guess it depends what you need day to day

if u have a graphic card that can give you the fps at 1440p, go for it. Big screens *more than 27 and even 27* suck at 1080p, I have an MSI 27 inches but 1080p and I swear I can count the pixels.

@@nightshiift66641440p is better for competitive gaming than 1080p and 360hz vs 480hz isn’t as big as 1080p vs 1440p. If you’re fine with the 27” size go 1440p 360hz.

1440p 360hz, and I believe it can connect via usb c though I was unable to do it with my samsung phone (not surprising). Don't have a mac.

@@paaged The thing is when you have a mac book pro, then you can use 120 hz. Apple is a little bit restricting. So when you have an air, you only can use 60 hz. I only hope i can use the usb c connector from the monitor, that would be huge :)

Text on OLED phones and OLED tablets always looks really good but on computer monitors to me, it always looks like shit. No exception with the FO27Q3 in my opinion :( Excellent video though, the KVM switch is something all monitors should have as a basic function.

That’s likely due to the resolution being spread out over a larger screen size. Most OLEDs were only 1440p for awhile. 4K OLED monitors are pretty recent. So it’s not the OLED itself, it’s the resolution/sub pixel layout
