Gigguk has watched all the Firefly trailers including Myriad Celestia and the Animated Short. He did his reactions during a livestream on June 22nd, prior to playing the 2.3 story. And If I remember earlier in the stream, he was doing a challenge to guess the anime song or something like that, which featured numerous copyrighted tracks, resulting in the stream being made private. He can still upload the segment where he plays the HSR 2.3 story to KZbin, only excluding his reactions to the Firefly trailers. If you want to watch his reaction while the VOD is being privated, download "Twitch VODs Downloader" extension to your browser. After that just head to his channel or any channels you want, there's an icon on the top left right next to "Browse", click on that and it will show you a list of VOD by his channel, including private one.

Would be nice if he had a stream where he reacted to all the CG's, and invited someone to summarize the context behind them and what's going on. And also summarize how Sea of Quanta and the Imaginary tree works when appropriate (like during the Bronya|Seele SoQ and Thus Spoke Apocalypse CG's :p).

People need to understand that characters who have literally tampered with the Imaginary Tree exist in HI3rd meanwhile HSR people still haven't exactly done much to say they are special

@@Kaytie-d6e Definitely, but it has to be someone who actually knows the lore. Or else misconceptions is just gonna spread like wildfire especially with how big of a following he has (believe me I had to line up 4 hrs in advance for Trash Taste + HSR + Kusunoki Tomori panel at AX).... I feel like his friend circle are gacha gamers/whales rather than a fan that would devote themselves to one game and know the lore, and even then they could be wrong. Like everyone keeps pointing to Homu Labs but he's just a fan too. He made a video talking about how Herrscher of Rebirth Seele is Imaginary and not Quantum because of the phrase "Imaginary Singularity" and basically neglected the whole story/lore of how Seele became a Herrscher in the first place after Kiana stole Finality. But yeah HI3 sets the Hoyoverse cosmology. Even if the goal isn't to play it for the story or to understand references, playing through it or having it explained to you could help you understand information, references, and hints in all the major Hoyoverse games.

Hoyofandom still hasnt reached the self sufficient lvl of fanTLs like the fatefandom but we are getting there. I still read people nowadays thinking ggz prologue its the actual ending lmao

Same for Wuthering Waves. I think you greatly underestimate the appeal of these games and his addiction to isekais lol

NGL, Penacony was 7/10 at best. You people glaze it too much. The pacing is awful and too many characters. Not everyone get to shine in it. Robin, Boothill and Jade didn't get any screen time. Firefly herself is ass when the only thing she does is off screen. We wanna see more badass version of Firefly that is Sam but noo. Firefly is the best girl despite committing multiple genocides. Case in point Japello Rebellion. Don't get me started on the messy writing we get to go through all these patches. Sunday dialogue is way too convoluted and could be cut down 2/3 and nothing would change. The pacing and the atmosphere is fuckin ruined in the later patches. I hate half of everything that came out from Penacony. Don't get me started on Firefly shill btw. Her as Sam, the stellaron hunter was fucking badass until Devs were like no she's a Waifu. And stick to her with the MC. This is like forced to sitting through the worst rom-com in fiction without any developments whatsoever. I liked penacony when it was memory zone meme was a threat to us. I fuckin hate that they tease us and never show us anything later. Boothill and Aventurine sub plot at both gun point at the end of the 2.2 with tension at all time high? Brushed off in 2.3 like it's nothing. The negotiation between the sharpest minds of both Penacony and IPC? Ended without any tension whatsoever. Memory zone meme being a menace psychopath killer? He's just a good boy. Gallagher killed Sunday and is the villain behind all the motives? No he's just a good guy with weird powers. You know that bellboy that greeted you at the start of penacony who had 0 to none screentime? He's the watchmaker legacy yea, you surprised? Firefly met you like an hour ago and die in front of you leaving PTSD? She's come back like nothing happened and said she lied to us to gain her goal. Also MC and Firefly are in love ,so have fun with the worst couple in fiction. Also do you remember when Astral Express was wary of Stellaron hunters like Kafka and Silverwolf? But Astral Express is fine with Firefly being a stellaron hunter and fine with her lying to us in the face? Yeah, bullshit. Also, black Swan should stop talking in riddles. Sparkle bombs didn't do anything is disappointing of in itself. Also what happened to the stellaron that we came all the way from Jarilo-VI to seal it, the stellaron that is like the heart of the every conflict in Penacony? It got sealed off-screen. What did Firefly do to help us against the fight against The Order? It happened off-screen. There are a fuck ton wrong with Penacony. If you think this is a great story without flaws then god I pray for the state of your mind.

No need to insult people who actually likes the story my man I agree on how there's so many things to criticize out of Penacony but for a gacha game story, it's definitely a lot better than most other gachas out there. I do hate Adventurine post 2.1 getting shafted and not knowing what the f Firefly has done during the Sunday fight during 2.2, but the Order twist that you can only catch if you read the SU Lore, and Sunday's character as the villain is definitely the most interesting part of Penacony for me A lot of your criticism is understandable like the offscreen shit they always do, but the other things that are just mere plot twist like Misha, Gallagher, and Firefly's Death seems to just be a biased opinion on your part.

@@KrakatowDA Gallagher and Misha plot twists are understandable and I can see it being good plot twists but I hate the fact of how they Handled Firefly/SAM as a character. Firefly should've been a morally gray stellaron hunter just based on what we know about SAM before she got revealed as Firefly. Blade himself said SAM is a menace. Look at Japella Rebellion Myriad Trailer. Maybe I was in the wrong for assuming that SAM will be badass but seeing SAM, the most vicious Stellaron Hunter, getting reduced to a Waifu Bait who did most of her work off-screen Hurts my soul. Her interactions with MC are just so bland too. We get to see a different Firefly at the start of 2.3 and I was happy. Until she reversed into Waifu Bait with 0 personality again. I'm sure someone will like the story but for me it just a slap in the face. Also, 7/10 isn't that bad. For reference FGO: Avalon La Fae get 9.5/10 from me.

Penacony itself is ambiguous but fell flat in executing it. 2.0 and 2.1 were fantastic but then 2.2 and 2.3 had totally different vibes it's like they changed the writing staffs completely. Despite it's errors, I still like Penacony and I think it's the best story HSR ever gotten till now. I just think it could be WAYYYYY BETTER then what we got.

@@sakamotoverge3194 Tbf I can see the appeal of a waifu being a badass kamen raider robot like Samus from Metroid, but they probably leaned too hard in showing her waifu side, while her SAM scenes all get off screened or gets relegated to a trailer, which is my main source of criticism as well. The fact that Penacony got too many fillers like that stupid Soulglad Audition while Firefly action only gets exposition still baffles my mind. I'm just hoping for her next appearance in the main plot she actually shows her actions as SAM more, they probably know that Penacony is supposed to be just the start of Firefly and not the end, which is why she isn't explored as much and there's nothing conclusive about her character development just yet. Honestly, in 2.2 the MC should have interacted with Robin more than Firefly, which is a bummer. The fact that I don't feel connected to Robin during the final fight with Sunday despite her being our biggest ally in the fight is such a missed opportunity
