fair enough, without made in abyss or kaguya sama I gave it to edge runners too. although, best episode of the year is "all that you gather" i don't even think ep 6 of edge runners was the best of the show. I thought the finale was better.

I respect the decision. Except for the best episode, for which I don't know what I prefer: "My Moon, My Man", "From You, 2,000 Years Ago", the finale of Kaguya-Sama Season 3, or "Gunfire" from Chainsaw Man... We were spoiled this year is what I'm saying.

@@alfonsobiggers2452 yeah, for me there were a few too. as you said "My Moon, My Man", and "From You, 2,000 Years Ago" were better. for me there was a kaguya sama episode too, except it was the rap episode, not the finale. I think the finale was great, but it wasn't as masterpiece level as people say it was, they just say it because "the thing" that everyone was waiting for happened in it. there are like 5 made in abyss episodes that I liked more (ep 7,8,10,11,and 12). and there is finally "dimple is" from mob psycho 100.

Best episode of the year was 86's episode 22 (with 21 being not far behind). Which isnt surprising considering it was basically movie quality. Hard to match up to that. But the show wasnt even nominated for best director for some reason so it wasnt possible to vote for it.

@@Tiasung I don't agree with the best episode, but I do agree that it should have been nominated for best director. 86 was imo the second best directed show last year, right behind sonny boy.

Man all that you gather was peak fiction not just in anime but in evrey media as a whole , very very few episodes ever gave that amount of emotions as it gets , the red wedding and breaking bad S5 ep 14 and that made in abyss ep is my favourite episodes ever
