This is a great idea! So beautiful, imaginative and looks fun! I’m working on an envelope project right now! Wish I had seen this technique first! I’ve never colloged napkin to paper before! . Don’t think this would work out on my jet black envelopes that have been sitting around for some time now, waiting for me to start the project I’ve been planning in my mind for months already! But, thank you for sharing your projects with us! I find them to be very pretty and inspiring! Love watching you do your work! ❤️💐

Came across this video when looking for something else on your channel, (which I still haven't found!, tsk tsk) and I'm SO glad I found this tutorial. I hadn't thought of putting napkins onto envelopes, or even onto paper to use up for other things. Gi, I swear you have a magic wand and are a crafty witch! Everything you make is breath-taking. Love these so very much. Am going to have to dig my napkins out and do a bit of playing around with them. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. You've inspired me yet again! Sending hugs ~ Cobs (UK)

I need a friend like your mother in law! She has excellent taste. My favourite is the teal blue, yellow birds envelope you showed first, but this purpley white bird napkin is just beautiful too! I need more napkins, they're so useful, can strengthen basic copy paper to give it substance and durability, yet add virtually nothing in bulk. Haven't used them for ages in fact, so this was a good reminder to not stray too too far from tried and tested basics. I think sometimes we get caught up in every new fad, product, technique etc, and often it leads you away from what you were originally drawn to and enjoyed doing. You can get lost, and then lose your mojo. I'm gonna get searching for napkins and go a bit old school I think, feminine, pretty and always pleasing results. Beautiful as always Gi. Love to you all xxxxxxx EDIT*** I liked the way the edging ink bled actually on that butterfly envelope...just as you were saying to wait a while for the envelope to dry first, the ink started bleeding and it looked really pretty! 😁 PS: Gi....get your mother in law to post you glue sticks from Poundland! You get a box of 5 for £1!!! They're just as good as any others and smell less too. I used to buy glue sticks in bulk, before Poundland brought these ones out, and the ones I was getting worked out around 3 glue sticks per pound, which is good.....but 5 for a pound is the cheapest I've ever seen. Like you I make sure to use a generous slick back and forth....and back and forth a few more times until I can see the paper glisten with glue. When people say glue stick doesn't stick, they're not using enough, simple as, you can easily stick papers back to back with glue sticks, and not even be able to tell they were ever two separate papers, as long as you use enough and go right to the edges, and smooth them well. I love them! 🤩

I love them so much. I just started making bags out of tracing paper. I wonder if I add some of my left over napkins to the top or the under side of the front of the bag how that will look. Your thoughts, please. Do you think you will see the glue. 🌱💛

I bought my first order from taperoligy. So sadly disapointed. Got the $79. Sept pack, and only 4 items were what it showed. 😞 i also bought an additional paper pack for 18$ and didnt even get that! Ive tried talking to the "help" link. Cant tell if im actually talking to someone or a bot. I hope you and everyone else has better luck...

I've heard this a few times now. They seem to send loads of gorgeous bits to craft channels to get promoted, but seem to let real customers down. They do lovely items, but you can find the exact same things on Amazon or eBay anyway...and a lot cheaper too. I'd rather order from a shop on Amazon or eBay because you have the money back guarantee of those bigger host sites and the PayPal refund process is simple and fast. You barely have to negotiate with the actual seller at all, which is a blessing as so many try to go silent on you when you have an issue. All of these types of products are made in China/Japan/Korea anyway, all made in the same factories...including Tim Holtz or other branded craft products. I rarely buy anything branded anymore, not before searching for a generic product that's almost identical. I hope you do get your money back, and I'm sorry for your order being disappointing, especially as you treated yourself... and spent a considerable amount too considering it's just paper bits and stickers. Taperology are just way too expensive for what you get IMO....and you didn't even "get" what you ordered! I can imagine how hurt you feel, as you were buying a little treat for yourself, it would feel more personal. Bless you, I hope this gets sorted out. 😘😘😘
