Whatever Adam Silver’s apprehension is with holding these refs accountable, who the fans couldn’t care less and and who they aren’t spend their hard money to come see, meanwhile, they’re the ones giving technical files and ejecting star players, because of feelings. Adam Silver needs to be called out by someone with a big enough voice who won’t get any consequences from doing so…

No, the league keeps Foster because he's one of the league fix masters...like Crawford, Donaghy, et al. before him...he's the guy they can trust to influence the game, when the league wants a certain result, or a certain team to win...and now with the league gambling partnership, they have even more financial incentive to keep a fix master (or two, or three) on the payroll among the referees....that's why Foster can openly brag about fixing all his games against CP3...because he knows he WON'T get fired...the NBA needs Foster, they are complicit with him, and can't fire him...b/c if they do, he'll write a tell-all book like Donaghy, revealing their complicity and embarrassing the league further

Key thing to point out here for those that missed it. That tip that Gil dropped in this clip about names. Knowing peoples names when you are NOT required to learn them is HUGE for building bridges with people. It is a very small gesture that goes a VERY long way. & this is applicable to everything. The players could end this in one game by refusing to leave the locker room when Scott Foster is officiating. What's to stop Scott Foster from using his position to act out a personal vendetta against players he doesn't like? What's to stop Scott Foster from harassing children? Because, right now, there's NOTHING stopping Scott Foster and the NBA from doing any of this. But, as for my suggestion... What's to stop them? Fines from the league. Losing fans. Personal pride. And on and on. The players have every reason to go out there and play, EXCEPT when there's a dirty ref. And the fans know he's a dirty ref. The bookies know he's a dirty ref. I, as an european, don't understand how the refs in the NBA have so much "power" and lack of accountability. Over here, when refs mess up in important moments in football, they get "crucified" by the media, fans, players, coaches, teams, etc. They're given scores for their performance after each game, if the score is too low, they won't ref the next weekend. NBA refs just seem to get away with everything.
@h1p.h0p

The NBA is “entertainment” disguised as a sport. It’s rigged to bring in as much money as possible. They like seeing more popular teams make it deeper in the playoffs because that means more views from fans. The refs help the league make sure that the most popular teams like the lakers and warriors perform better because it brings in more money. It’s also why they now allow traveling and carrying because it makes it easier to score. A lot of viewers find high scoring games more interesting (i personally don’t and despise the blatant violations that are rarely called). The NBA is a business that sacrifices the integrity of the game for capital.

Whatever Adam Silver’s apprehension is against holding these refs accountable, who the fans couldn’t care less about and who they aren’t spending their hard-earned money to come see meanwhile they’re the ones calling technical fouls and ejecting star player because of feelings. Silver needs to be called out by someone with a big enough voice who won’t get any consequences from doing so. It’s like the referees have his nuts in their hand…

Some teams have to win with 20 to really win, and other teams like Lakers will get 50+ free trows. The way players come into the league some players will never get a chance. They cant choose where they play and that place is a good fit. Refs are terrible and with video there should not be this many mistakes. Players will more often be ejected to rest:) There is so many red flags in the league. The way teams that do well, is puniqhed for finding players in draft and develope them like the league want...then the salary is from league pushed up very fast and the players drafted is suddently hard to keep. Those teams like nuggets, warriors...will struggle to keep players and Even if they have the money to pay. Salary cap.

i think 2 things are rigged in the league, i think the refs will try and change outcomes sometimes, biggest recent example is in the finals heat vs nuggets when jimmy stuck his foot out and kicked aaron gordon in the nuts on the 3 point line and was given a fould and shot 3 free throws to try and extend the series, and the draft i think certain drafts are rigged, bron draft, drose draft, wemby draft, ewing draft

This is exactly what happened with the 2006 finals. The refs absolutely dictated that series after Miami was down 2-0. The remainder of the series, D Wade shot more free throws than the entire Mavs team combined. All he had to do was look at the rim and he was going to the line

I flatly asked them how much politics played a role in the league. "I won't even play with you little nigga. It's all a dance." Sam Cassell Take that as you will. Everything can be reviewed in todays game, there shouldnt be any wrong calls. Take them out the game bc at the end of the day , we dont watch for the refs.
