That’s the part everyone is missing, Lebron left a team with the BEST RECORD IN THE LEAGUE. They won 61 games the year before he left and 66 games the year before that and he decided to leave. Just ask yourself why. Second leading scorer averaged 15. He didn’t have enough to win a ring and the Cavs were not going to get him the right help so he left, but yet yall say he took the easy way out. How?

Bro they all know this but just like white supremacists and racist trolls, they know the truth but they have all the ammo to gaslight and lie in our face only to keep their GOAT in place all while knowing others will back then just to bother his supporters. We all have eyes but people choose the reality they want to see and accept regardless of evidence or video proof. We've never seen anything like LeBron, yet MJ fans eyes stop working when he plays.

Respectfully no one cares about Ohio media or fans. When the decision happened, the first thing we heard about y’all was that y’all were burning this man’s jersey en masse. NYC media was shittin on Lebron for sure at that point, cuz beforehand they would love writing how he’d kill the Knicks with record games at MSG and wanted him on the team

Bruh you ain’t wrong. Watched everything from Columbus and talking to my people in Cleveland. We all came to the conclusion that the way Cleveland fans did Bron was the most disgusting thing we’d ever seen. And this is the state where Buckeye players get called all kinds of stuff if they lose. They called that man everything imaginable and then came the death threats for him and his family. He showed he was the way bigger man by coming back because the owner and the fans didn’t deserve a damn thing.

Lebron left because Dan Gilbert had promised to get Amare Stoudemire & then reneged at the last minute. Amare went to the Knicks & was a beast before the injuries. Had Lebron gotten Amare I don't believe he would've ever left Cleveland because it would've set a culture of truly competing in the league against the better squads at that time...

LeBron did what he had to do to compete for championships, but he wouldn't be a lesser player today if Miami never happened. You can make an argument he was a better player when he went back to Cleveland as well and those were his best years, but if that didn't happen he still would've been the player he is today, because love him or hate him LeBron always trained like a possessed man, took care of his body every way possible and his #1 goal was always to be the best player he can be and give everything he's got, so there isn't a situation that would change the player that he always was and in many ways still is today.

People were programmed to hate LeBron. ESPN (Stephen A Smith a Jordanite) first put it out there and I quote “I don’t like the way he left”. Immediately after that people started hating LeBron. Burning jerseys and talking smack about The King. I remember vividly when I asked people why they hated LeBron. 10 or 10 people said “I don’t like the way he left”. Think about that for one moment. A free agent choosing another team to play for and you hate him for that?? The same people celebrated every exit James Harden made from every team he left. The same people celebrated the year before The Three Amigos the year before LeBron left. Imagine that and not once did anyone call the Celtics a Super Team with The Truth, The Big Ticket, and Jesus Shuttlesworth. Not once. Then they create the narrative that LeBron started that whole SuperTeam BS. Get out of here. Let’s go back when Moses Malone demanded to be traded from Houston to the 76ers. His demand was granted in and he went to the 76ers and won a championship that same year with his superteam consisting of Dr J and Mo Cheeks just for starters. So you’re also trying to tell me that Shaq coming to the Lakers with Kobe and Ron Artest was NOT a SuperTeam???? With Phil Jackson as their head coach!! LeBron came into the league with a target on his back. We have NEVER seen a player so unwelcome into the league. I say that to say this. Dr J welcomed Magic into the league. Doc never threw Magic under the bus. He allowed Magic to be who he became. Magic and Bird never threw Jordan under the bus. They allowed him to grow into the great player he became. Jordan, Magic and damn near every angry vet threw darts LeBron 🎯. Taking smack from day one. Even in his first stint with Cleveland he outshined what they expected. But they kept talking smack that he didn’t win a ring and he wasn’t this and he wasn’t that. Unlike they did Jordan. When Jordan came in David Stern made Jordan the face of the NBA. Jordan could do no wrong. You can say whatever you want but before Jordan we hated BALL HOGS. We hated them on the black top, at the gym, in college and pro ball. Michael Jordan was allowed to practice during games and take as many shots as he wanted. Look it up Jordan would myself 50 and 60 shots per game. Of course he would average 30 and 35 points per game. LeBron wants granted that leeway but STILL passé Jordan in scouring (a long time ago) but to also be in the top 5 in assists In PHENOMENAL!! No other NBA player on top 5 in scoring and assists. LeBron is like having Magic and Jordan in one player. And yet those 2 players that every opp to three what that man has accomplished under the bus and program other people to follow that stupidity. They always move the goal post when it come to LeBron doing a thing that Jordan has NEVER done. MICHAEL JORDAN NEVER WON A RONG WITHOUT SCOTTIE PIPPEN AND PHIL JACKSON. If that was on LeBron’s resume they would they would throw that out there as a negative that he would never be able to live down. Like it or not LeBron James was basically A Dynasty by himself. Each player he won with envied him. People talk as if LeBron would have never won had he NOT went to Miami. The fact is DWade would only have 1 ring if LeBron had not come to Miami. Kyrie and AD act as if they were the reason The King has a ring. The fact is LeBron is they reason they have a ring each. You can see the envy from both of them. The Lakers need ti get rid of AD if they want another ring with LeBron. The Kong is doing his part. AD should’ve mentioned among Giannis, Embiid and The Joker right now and for the last 4 years. He’s not because he too concerned on not being the dude. I see that LeBron has even tried reverse psychology with AD but telling him this is your team. There is not way a 38 almost 39 year old man should be the best player on your team. You’re 29 years old. That’s ridiculous!!!!!!! Kobe showed us that doing exactly what Jordan did was doable. He was a carbon copy of Jordan. Salute to both. The reality is…….. We have never seen anything like LeBron James before and we will never seen anything like LeBron James again. Give that man his flowers while he’s here and playing. For 21 years a lot of you all hated. Stop that nonsense. Gil is right. But it wasn’t just about Lebron leaving & the press conference but HOW he left. First of all, he quit on the Cavs in the ECSF playoffs against the Celtics where he scored just 15 in a critical GM 5 and constantly passed up shots he should have taken to even walking off the court & taking his Cavs jersey off with time left on the clock when they got eliminated which was a sign of what was to come and had Cavs fans in an uproar. He then holds the press conference complete with a marching band like they just won the NBA championship to announce he’s leaving not only his team but his HOME team of the state he grew up in by “taking his talents to Miami”. Knowing the damage he’d be doing to Cleveland in leaving he even contributed $25k to their Boys & Girls Club as a bandaid. It also didn’t help that he was leaving a hard luck city like Cleveland for the tropical weather, beach life & bikini clad woman of Miami. And last he left to go ring chasing by joining a future HOF and already NBA champion in D Wade along with a prime Chris Bosh in what was not the first Big 3 but the first championship or bust Big 3. Now the hate for Lebron started there but continued as he became known as a flopper, always crying to the refs, my fav exaggerating injuries where he’s rolling on the floor in pain holding an area replay shows he wasn’t even hit at smh, constantly walking off the court with time left in losing games something he’s done often especially in LA, often referring to himself as the GOAT something as egotistical as Michael Jordan is he NEVER did even though he knows he the true GOAT. And finally Lebron continued to ring chase by smartly returning to Cleveland to wrong his rights but only cause they had an All Star in Kyrie & was getting prime Kevin Love to finally going to LA knowing prime AD & others would soon follow which they did. And let’s not forget he refuses to go bald or go to Turkey and fix his botched hair replacement surgery. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Let's get one thing clear, he didn't "quit" on the Cavaliers in that series against the Celtics in 2010. There were a lot of personal issues going on with LeBron that affected him mentally, to which it's none of our business and, more importantly, it had nothing to do with basketball.

He couldn't have worn #23 since it was retired for MJ in Miami by Pat Riley and there was no way he'd allow the perception of him possibly being forced to take another number other than #23. Gilbert is such a liar. Lebron attempted to recruit players, they didn’t want to come to Cleveland. Thats not the same as the owner not spending money on FA.

I remember watching the decision and I was 11 years old. It felt no different than a college kid picking his school on TV. Obviously now I understand that’s not how pro sports conducted, but I wonder if Bron was trying to have his “college decision” because he never got one?
