This is 110% on Adam Silver.. you as the commissioner allow these refs to abuse their authority & allow their egos to dictate how games are called but then when a player speaks on the reffing because they disagree w/ some calls you’re quick to protect the refs & wanna hand out fines & suspensions.. fans don’t pay to see the refs, they come to see the players so do a better job of protecting the product & be more fair to both sides

3:50 and the thing is this is not the first time he pulled Giannis out that caused an argument. In games like these vs tough opponents when your team is struggling to stay in the game, taking your best player off the court is downright foolishness. I remember watching it and was thinking "why the heck is he taking off Giannis right now?" And if I'm not mistaken either in this game or the one before there were moments when there was no Giannis OR Dame on the court. Something that you almost never see the Nuggets do vs a tough team. You need one of your 2 best guys on the court at all times. He is on pace to get fired if he doesn't stop this nonsense. Giannis is young, in his prime, and literally wants to play higher minutes than he has in the past. Let him.

I didn’t see this while watching the game but it adds on to what I did see, this one point Giannis gets up from the bench and walks to the scorers table to get a towel barely brushing by that coach, that coach looked at Giannis like he was crazy. I’m with the coach, do not show up your coach like this multiple times in one game, we know giannis is the star player but he doesn’t need to remind us by lashing out in passive aggressive ways wether he realizes it or not.

Scott Foster is a ref who holds grudges and puts his own emotions over ensuring fair competition in the league. It's not about Foster and CP3 not being on the same court in the future, it's about Foster being an overly emotional and biased ref who cannot ensure games are called fairly. He shouldn't be a ref in the NBA period. He lacks the integrity required of a fair and truly neutral referee. FIRE HIM.

@@KimmieSue. Mainly the inconsistencies among different referee crews. You can have one crew that thinks "let the boys play", and another that will call a foul for, as SAS puts it, "having bad breath". The league needs to do more to force officials to abide by a set standard of how a game should be called. The number one thing is when dudes drive to the bucket, there is so much variability to how officials interpret "legal guarding position". The rare occasion those moments get challenged, it often takes forever for the replay center to make up their minds.

Here we are with the league working hard and creating this tournament which is working and has brought passion and interest to this part of the season. It's exciting and I find myself wanting to watch these matchups. This passion the players are urged to feel, carries over. So what if CP3 used a disrespectful word or two. This kind of Referee that I'm seeing in many games across their entire team, is ruining that exact passion and interest. It's counter productive, and fights against the effort the leagues tournament has generated. The refs are killing the game. Let's look into digital refs, with stoppage called by the created system. It's sounds crazy, and could be disastrous, but it would be better than watching those with thin skin ruin a professional contest affecting all, including the fan and advertiser. When a fan turns off the game, those advertisers wasted their money. That's on the Refs! I'm just sick of the refs ruining fun contests.

It's a challenging situation. On one hand, you can say, well just don't put them on the court together... but then it sets a precedent that undercuts the refs authority in future situations if a player feels that it's personal. The problem I think could be mitigated if refs are fined or suspended if an ejection is later ruled by the league to have bias involved. So I think if they investigate and hold refs accountable for the quick double techs and penalize them. And, if a ref has been investigated for such calls and deemed that bias was involved, they should not qualify for the playoffs, period.
