Gila Bend, founded in 1872, is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. The town is named for an approximately 90-degree bend in the Gila River.

It's essentially a farming community at the junction of state route 85 which connects the I-10 to the I-8 which carries all the traffic between Phoenix and San Diego. Most of the run down homes shown are really the shacks that field workers used and are abandoned now. The videographer is misleading

There is a park and public library and a k-12 school there. He dove right past them. Plus, a nice middle-class neighborhood he didn't turn down toward the end. Plus, he didn't show the main road of Gila Bend. Yes the town has gone down hill for the last 40+ years. There are no jobs.

Ive been looking at residential buildings in parts of Argentina they are different often rural ones are unique and some are modern looking. As if there's no zoning laws and a certain freedom exists where building codes are free to be whatever the builder can think of or afford.
@joacom880424 күн бұрын
@@podcastfan2544 Here there are no specific laws to build, you do what you can, you can build yourself or hire an architect to design your house. Many people live in places that they have inherited and they may be old houses, you see a lot of those in rural areas even in small cities. In wealthier areas these old houses are often remodeled. And people live there.
