Brown is a 37% three point shooter. Those shots were contested. Brown, and most decent players, can shoot threes when the nearest defender is 15 feet away. Those were practice shots for Brown.

You would think so but you would be wrong. He shoots in the low 20s with open 3s, his percentage is significantly higher when contested. It kind of make sense when you think of how he sucks at the free throw line. He's shooting 50% from the field but only 72% from the line(an abysmal 63% last month)? I'm a huge Dubs fan (my family had season tickets before the move to Chase), but I have to acknowledge the good luck the Warriors had in the playoffs in 2022. They would not have beaten Denver if Jamal Murray wasn't out with injury. Since he returned for the 2022-2023 season the Warriors have not beat Denver. Dray used to do a decent job against Jokic but he got worked like a school girl in their last meeting. Dray is not as good as he thinks he is. Like a lot of older players, Dray (and Klay) will have a good game or two and then will stink up the joint. It's not his fault. We all get old.

After hearing the Warriors reasoning tells me a couple things. One, there were very ok with 3-1 road trip record. Two, if they game planned that 15 minutes before the game started tells me that they were not heavily invested in this game because of reason number one. They decided to “check kinks in the armor” and make this game a practice game. You could tell the Warriors were totally out of it. Everyone’s timing was off. Couldn’t shoot the ball. Couldn’t handle the ball. Which turned into turnovers.

Ja Morant and Jaylen Brown are miles apart as 3 point shooters. Brown has already had a 10 3 game, and already shot 40+ percent from 3 for a 15 game PLAYOfF run, and has shot .395 from 3 for an entire season and .364 for his career. Morant is .318 for his career, and has never shot above .344. And that’s on wide open attempts. Most of Jaylens come with a hand in his face. He’s also the best turnaround fade shooter in the entire league.

Like for example harden he has narrow hips and long lemurs which makes it easy to accelerate and decelerate but laterally its gonna be trouble no matter how hard he tries. I don't think people understand 1 thing. People think it's "disrespectful" when an opponent strategizes to sag-off of a player, such as Jalen Brown. How about this?? Maybe the opponent actually RESPECTS the other strengths of your game, such as your strong ability to drive and score, or maybe your ability to drive and create for others?? They're not trying to be disrespectful. Theyre strategy against you could also be respectful. Who knows, you could sag-off of Jalen the very next night and he goes 1/10 from three.
