When Dray in the game the other team locks up on offense because Dray is not threat, and he’s not the defensive anchor he use to be. As soon as he sits the warriors go on a run. Golden State had a top five starting lineup last year when it came to net rating. The bench was the worst in the league. Theoretically they felt if they got Chris Paul it would improve the non Steph minutes which happened. Golden State didn’t anticipate Looney being out of shape and unplayable, Klay Thompson aging before our eyes and Wiggins being terrible. Kerr waited too long relying on Klay and Wiggs to snap out of their slump that it cost Golden State games they should have won if he used their young guys.

Thats like saying the bulls are having a disappointing season (missing key pieces like Lavine & Lonzo) Similar situation to the lakers. Woods, Vando, Reddish, (Vincent especially) all injured. I’d go with the Pelicans. They got enough talent to make the conference finals if they play their cards right in the playoffs
