This is a small thing, but I really like how they got down certain inside jokes about Gilbert Gottfried himself. The line about him enjoying free hotel shampoos in the pyramid video I believe is referring to how he collected a huge amount of hotel soaps, shampoos, toothpastes, etc. throughout the years. I think there’s a documentary clip you can find online where he pulls out a huge tub that’s packed full of hundreds of them.

The line about the Empire State Building was part of a joke he told during the Friars' Club roast of Hugh Hefner, right after 9/11. It's credited as the first joke about 9/11. It bombed horribly, to boos and shouts of "Too soon!" and he immediately broke into a version of "The Aristocrats" joke, an inside joke told by comedians to comedians (see Penn Jillette's 2005 documentary "The Aristocrats" for an excellent explanation). It apparently broke the tension and diffused the anger in the room.

That screed at the beginning of the video game @ 37:44 is likely a reference to gilbert's legendary version of the aristocrats joke he segued into after making a 'too soon' 911 joke one night. There are no known recordings of his aristocrats joke, but it is said to be the best version ever told.

For those unaware, the people running Gilbert Garfield are Adult Swim employees! (I.e. this isn't an "Adult Swim project" but it's made by some peeps at Adult Swim). If you're trying to explain the crazy high end production values, they have the inside hookups at Williams Street lol. Gilbert Garfield got its start on an Adult Swim live-stream show called "The Fish Tank" from a few years back where some AS employees improved to the actions of a group of fish in a fish tank. (The specific episode where they create G.G. & his voice/character can actually still be found if you try hard enough).

as someone who followed this years before you found it; watching you slowly lose your mind was cathartic.

This really made my night. I enjoyed laughing along with you and going on this wild ride. It was so much fun. Watching people's expressions and joking along with it was fantastic, and it was a great exprience over all.

Man its not the holiday season, but Nick gave us a present anyways! I love the long content and I thought How to was a great ARG and video. Cabin Fever season truly is the best time of the year.

Thank you for addressing the how to video. It was definitely the opening that nearly got me, I literally thought the first 2 mins was you doing an actual how to video and I clicked off. Had it not been 3 days later that i remembered your past of doing these skits i would have written it off. Been here since Everyman Hybrid still love the work.

I'm only half way through the video but this makes up for the confusion of the "How to" video easily! Easily some of the best content this channel has ever covered. All is forgiven, we have truly been blessed.

I- I really didn’t think it was an analysis video- I really thought it was just “How to make a web series” but again, so thank you for clearing that up, I’ll make sure to watch. Have a great Summer Nick!

ive been following the faraone productions saga since the first few uploads. i adore it. it pulls u in with this genuinely intriguing plot and slaps u for it and calls u stupid for caring abt it, but it keeps going and dropping conspiracies and fascism and genetic mutation and prophecy and cosmic fortune telling - but tells u its abt poop and pee and fuckiny and dicks and balls

I find it hilarious how this video is already outdated because this is like the 5th video on Gilbert Garfield to become immediately outdated because a video came out a day after

OK, "How to" Didn't land as intended. If that's the worst thing you do for the rest of the day, was it a bad day? You're still one of my favorite channels abs every time you drop new content I stop what I'm doing to watch. Keep up the great work!

I did initially also think the same thing as others that thought it was a real how to video, I thought it was something like a behind the scenes thing, I ended up watching it later on but yeah, I was definitely one of the people too convinced by the thumbnail

To everyone so suprised at that heart and wondering how it was done. That is simply an actual heart. It's not a human heart, It looks like pig or boar to me, but it is nevertheless a legitimate heart.
