@@the_narthex Sadly, I just discovered him not so long ago. I'm german. In my perception I thought Gottfried was an obscure US comedian telling dusty jokes only a boomer would find funny. The only real time I saw him was in the Married... with Children episode. Then I heard his aristocrats rendition and understood the raw, unbound genius of this man.
