From the SkyAtlantic, UK series "SET LIST: Standup w/o A Net"
Gilbert Gottfried improvises a stand up bit on the insane topic "THOMAS EDISON'S TESTICLE EXPERIMENTS"
"Set List" is a format created by Evil Genius Troy
Conrad and produced by Paul Provenza, Barbara Romen and Troy Conrad (Susquehanna Hats & Rational Entertainment)
SET LIST Live shows are performed all over the world, 2 series produced for UK television (Sky Atlantic) and a KZbin web series for The Nerdist Channel (bit.ly/1KZfeQT) - featuring 65 comedians filmed in Los Angeles, London, Edinburgh and Galway Ireland - includes 100% improvised stand-up from Robin Williams, Bob Odenkirk, Bobcat Goldthwait, Dana Gould, The Sklar Brothers, Jimmy Carr, Greg Proops, Neil Hamburger, TJ Miller, Moshe Kasher, Josie Long, Brian Posehn, Rich Hall, Iliza Schlesinger, Ronny Chieng, Tim Minchin, Dara O'Brien, Todd Glass, Ed Byrne, Jason Manford, Drew Carey, Marcus Brigstocke, Eddie Pepitone, Kyle Kinane, Aisling Bea, Colin Murphy, Jen Kirkman, Richard Herring, Rove McManus, Paul Foot, Tony Law, Mitch Benn, Hal Sparks, Byron Bowers, Jon Dore, Jason Byrne... and many, MANY more!
COMEDY IN THE MOMENT!
The world’s top comedians get a never-before seen “set list” of bizarre, outrageous, and challenging topics and must improvise the stand-up comedy inspired by it - as the audience follows the challenge and participates in the moment of its creation.

Norms internet cult following has become disproportionate. Norm was funny a LONG time ago, but NOT funny "genius" funny. He didnt write. His standup routines were often marred by unfunny jokes and dead air (no applause) and now - worse then anything - hes a born-again jesus freak, conspiracy nutjob, flat earther, and seems to believe that being funny is in bad taste. Hes burned his bridges with most of his comedian friends and hes just old, slow, and unpleasant. Norm had great potential, but peaked too early, too low with SNL. Norm is one of comedy's biggest disappointments.

Back in my day there was a book with pages with names on them made of paper, which at the time we called the phone book, that's what we used to call it. Books, back in my day, were printed bound pages that contained words, thoughts, and ideas as it were. Now ideas, ideas as we used to call them, back in my day people would have these ideas and sometimes , back in my day, ideas would be spoken, which at the time was another way of organizing words. But we also would organized objects, back in my day, such as tools which is what we used to call, back in my day, stuff that did things. Now at the time things weren't always tools, back in my day.....

Don’t know how I never heard of this I think I’ve heard the term and maybe they were talking about this and I thought “standup without a net” was just a term but either way it’s clearly my fault
