Nice mandolin! The fellow you mentioned is actually Henry Garris. Used to play with his nephew Mike Garris. Played the red lloyd loar mentioned in the late 80's at Sunset Park in Pennsylvania. First loar I ever played!! Will never forget that time and how excited I was to get to play my first loar. NIce mandolin playing!!

I really liked the " walkaround" you did on the instrument. It expresses your relationship with it which seems deep. Would like more playing of it (by you). Maybe to get this you need to take ' real life' lessons from you!

I'm a guitar player ..... What is the tuning for mandolin, and can you put locking tuners on one just like a guitar?

I am left handed, do they make a left handed mandolin?

I played one of those once, jammed with someone who owns one. they are sooooo expensive. has a great, surprisingly loud sound. warm and clear. sooooo expensive - around 20,000 dollars! the owner was a weed grower and one of his regular customers owned it before. so somehow a copious amount of marijuana was exchanged for this mandolin.

If you insist on doing "demos" that are 90% yakking, can't you make a "part 2" that is 90% playing? Given that it's supposedly a "demo"?

+James Fehrenbacher, I thought I would counter your opinion with mine. I thought that it was very informative, and Sharon is a true professional in the music business. The fact that you watched the whole thing when you didn't like it just shows that your intention is to be negative. Wishing you the most joy and happiness in the future in spite of your attitude, sir. Good luck.

Zeke's Spin Doctor If you are still alive 2 yrs later , you are truly an idiot. Of COURSE this is an ad. It's a free video/gear demo from a company that sells that stuff or profits from it in some way. It's called "promotional" for a reason. Or did you think people should spend $1000s producing free content that is solely for your entertainment??
