I forgot if it was ever explained properly, but what berserker did in that attack was catch gil's weapon, and used his own noble phantasm to turn it into their own. That is in and of itself, berserker's noble phantasm. The ability to turn anything they touch into their own noble phantasm at the cost of it being of a lower rank...

Which is bull too He not only has the largest mana poll of any servant stated by tamamo which made the group use him as a whole ass battery But his gate of babylon spam counts as one move taking only a small amount of mana Like this is the reason why if your in a grail war you would want him and enkidu over karna or arjuna While karna can’t even use his mana burst for 5 second from mcdonell the guy with half as much magical energy as ciel and the highest in the clock tower Gilgamesh can spam for hours before even touching his masters mana

Nah, when he is a simple Servant his reserve are not that impressive When Dark Iri swallow the souls of the Heroic Spirits in Accel Zero among which Gilgamesh Artoria and Diarmuid not being absorbed don't allow her to be complete While in Heaven's Feel Gil as incarnated was enough to make up for the 3 Heroic Spirits missing and more When Sakura ate him he is stated to be worthy several hundred thousand of souls, Fate Prototype confirm a Servant is 700 souls worth Meaning incarnated Gil has bare minimum 400 times more mana than a Servant, that's why Sakura was feeling so bad after devouring him It was so much that she risked crumbling

@@Nothingness4907 more specifically when sakura ate him gilgamesh was trying to get out by bursting her stomach which for sakura to release a huge amount of mana digest him faster And you do know incarnated gilgamesh from stay night is actually weaker then zero gilgamesh right? The only difference between a normal and incarnated servant is one has a physical body and one does but stat wise stay night gil has worst mana stat then stay night and there is nothing that imply incarnated gil had more mana considering how much it was made a big deal no one had as much mana as gilgamesh in extella

@@vanilla4486 No, Gilgamesh was ABOUT to climb his way out, which forced Sakura to digest him fast, she didn't released a huge amount of energy to do that, it's completly headcanon There is a difference between the Magical Energy stat and the amounts a Servant hold as a whole For example Saber Alter ME stat is the same as when under Rin, despite the Grail being vastly higher in power and that's being a focal point of the story, with Medusa being fully supplied by Sakura who has the same magic capacity as Rin (which mean this Medusa is the best she could have ever been) and yet fighting at full power she use up all her energy in a 9 minutes fight, while Salter kept her strength constantly at full capacity ME is just how much mana one can manage and put into action at once, the general amounts isn't showed by any stat at all and is completly separeted (which is indeed how the Rin vs Sakura goes) Both the Character Materials and Nasu interview state how Incarnated Gil mana was so off-the charts she risked crumbling because of how much it was to absorb Incarnated Servants are closer to when they were alive which grant them capacities superior to what they hold as Servants, the Character Materials even describing them as runaway cars that can't be stopped Gilgamesh in the Extraverse is Classless, meaning he doesn't possess any restriction due to the Holy Grail War and is arguably at his peak strength as when he was alive, that's why during the selection at the beginning of the game there isn't any Class for him, it's just "Gilgamesh" And Nasu refer to him in CCC as a cheat-like character because of that

@@Nothingness4907 His classless because moon cell couldn’t control him so was thrown into the far side jn a material book nasu just talks about his the same gilgamesh And nasu was referring to gilgamesh’s routine that his scared that it would just be gil attacks enemy dies that is if you are talking about nasu’s comments in the fate extra material gilgamesh portion And technically speaking ccc gilgamesh at the start would be the weakest because of his 10% treasury as he was weaker then cu level fighters this is why nasu said late game balance Also non of what you said would imply gilgamesh would have more mana First one you have is just nasu talking about the amount if mana gilgamesh has not even a comparison to normal gil just when stay nigh gilgamesh eaten had so much mana it was off the charts which nothing there would imply he would have While the second is just talking about them as they have no need of masters to stay in the world AKA uncontrollable i do remember A material book talking about them being closer to when they were alive but nothing about being stronger and considering gilgamesh stats still exist that material book stat sheet also implies they don’t get stronger as stay night gilgamesh can still increase or decrease stats depending on the master If you mind giving me the names of the material books i would appreciate it and if you do hold off the arguments

17:20 The idea that Karna is as strong as Gil, is mostly false it's based on one cherry picked line without much backing and contradicted by a lot of stuff. A lot of Karna stans paradoxically hype him up really hard while at the same time not actually reading the series he appears in. Karna is really strong (one of the strongest regular servant) but he would probably lose almost any fight with Gil, also in part because their compatibility is just terrible for him.

Just to put it out there, but lancer of red (Karna) from fate/apocrypha is so insanely broken that if he were to go all out, he'd drain his master's mana to the point of killing them which is why he holds back. Unlike every other servant I've seen, he is the only one I know who canonically who is almost destined to be held back by their master...

And to answer, Iskandar is more famously known as Alexander the Great. 1:47 - Well not to spoil anything but remember, Gilgamesh still around for Fate/Stay Night which is timeline wise after Fate/Zero. 1:56 - Why not? He's a Knight who has sworn his loyalty to his new master, nothing more than that. Diarmuid takes his vows seriously so all he needs to do is swear loyalty and for better or worse he offers full dedication. 4:15 - Yes, he was noted to be a Master in the first episode after all. 5:01 - As far as Master and Servants relationship goes, thats how it is for many. 6:26 - He does not actually, as far as i know the Fandom barely even remembers Tokiomi and hes generally disliked. So I would be surprised if he has any simps honestly. 7:25 - And how would anyone actually identify Gil by sight? He's the oldest Hero in history which means depictions of him aren't in vast department and he literally only has one poem to him, juts saying. 8:29 - Nothing to do with what Rider was asking nor does it prevent him from being able to know. Masters in a Grail War can look at a Servants stats hence why Rider asked him. 8:47 - One of my personal favorite Servant designs, so agree to disagree on that. 10:15 - Modicum, its basically a fancy way of saying a little and/or a small amount of something. 11:38 - Berserker, they called him that the moment he appeared. 12:22 - Not to downplay Berserker but, lasting longer than Assassin isn't really a feat since as mentioned, Assassin are pretty weak in direct fights. 13:11 - Again, presuming before things happen based off bias. He was very much not done, granted he wouldn't have won either, but you have a habit of underestimated other Servants a lot, just saying. 13:21 - Its more of a "being type" designation, than role classification. And on that note, Gil has referred to himself by Servant title, though never submissively. 13:31 - Again, wrongly assuming and underestimating the other side, they can do something about it, well not all of them, but far from nobody being able too. Powerful as Gil is, he also lets his ego get the better of him which others could take advantage off, his fight with Shirou being a prime example. 15:03 - He's a Berserker Class, so pretty self explanatory, just saying. 15:20 - it IS a seven way free for all war after all, so him attacking isn't strange by itself. 20:46 - Small note, most Servants would have been insta killed getting a direct hit from Rider's chariot just saying. So says a lot of Berserkers durability that he managed to survive after getting hit of guard. 21:09 - Yes, they just don't know it at this moment, its more common to keep true names secret and obviously Berserker couldn't speak to introduce himself even if he wanted too. 24:05 - Especially after enduring an entire year of worms in him. Unfortunately as can be seen, worms are causing him to go nuts.
