Even though we live 4 hours away these days, we still go back to Prairie 4-5 times a years & always stop & see Mike. We were just there 2 days ago again & we are never disappointed. There's always something new to try! Thanks Mike!

I have been there, its fantastic, he's the real deal, everything is amazing! He's a true hardworking great American, its a honor to know him, and he is a great tribute to southwest Wisconsin! Don't forget to try the cheese he has there! Unbelievable!

Great show, Mike and Barb Valley are wonderful and hardworking folks and are a real gem to Prairie DuChien and the food, oh the food can't beat it, if you haven't been there yet, make sure you put it on your bucket list.

Amazing show! Talk about a lost art, it would be a shame to see this process die out, I wish I was younger and knew about this sooner!

This video is lovely. Those smoked fish loooooookkk sooooooo good, wish I could have a taste of everything. Those are one tough job to take but in Wisconsin, they take food seriously.

Hi Mike. 👋😀💨Say hello to the old timers. I miss your smoked fish. I'm in the Ohio valley. I hope you're enjoying that glass float. I don't see me ever coming that way again. I tell people stories about my garden and your fish guts. I'm teaching all kinds of things. I'll see you in the clouds. ⚓Marius👼 Gabriel🌀Burja✌🐾👣🚶

Wisconsin foodie have you ever done a story about commercial fishing at potosi,wi for catfish? 4 decades at one time ive known of 3 potosians commercial fishing for catfish

Thinking of myself I wish you sold online but for your mindset and the river I'm glad you don't. I love smoked fish and yours is 2nd to none. My problem is I have not had it in years as I only get it when I know someone heading to the area. Now that I'm older and don't get out as much those opportunities are almost none. Had a customer years ago who spoke very fondly of you folks as he was from that area. Be well

How can you sell sheepshead as perch? is this common?
@Erik-z5g Жыл бұрын
Sounds like false advertisement 😅
@Superkuh214 күн бұрын
@@Erik-z5g It does seem a bit dishonest. But I'm interested in trying sheepshead sometime now. The hints on cleaning sound like what you do for white bass. I'm surprised about eating buffalo. Some of those smallmouth buffalo were probably older than I am. Almost seems a shame to eat them.

"Foodie"? Is a "foodie" a person who likes food and may be particular about what they eat? I don't understand why we would need such a term.
@Manetho723 ай бұрын
Because it's much more concise than saying "a person who likes food and my be particular about what they eat."
