This is one of those situations when everyone was somewhat in the wrong... Rory showed an absolute lack of character by breaking down and running away at the first criticism towards her. Lorelai proved that she isn't as open as she think she is regarding her daughter's choices and decisions. Emily and Richard betrayed Lorelai's trust by coddling Rory and give her a escape route for the chance of having a "do-over daughter". Honestly, in retrospective this is probably the second most frustrating storyline in the show after April´s appearance. SPECIALLY considering the sequel.

I think it's typical of Amy Sherman Palladino to frustrate us with her main characters' bad decisions.

AryBerry was not a writer on the last season. Don't blame her

OMG, Lorelai is such a good person, good mom, defending Rory after all she did to her.
@chris.dav_83332 жыл бұрын
Honestly I think Lorelai and her parents interchange the mature role with the childish one depending on the situation!!! And here you can appreciate it clearley!!

@@chris.dav_8333 maaaybe thats true... but they are more critical which is not helping... but I would be mad att that spoiled brat too! ;) Emily is my favourite anyway, she´s so funny. :) Or is it called witty? :)

@@linastrindlund2830 I think your point is perfectly understandable but I just pointed out that the inmature attitude was always jumping from one character to the other, depending on the situation!!
Which episode of which season is this, please? I can’t remember.

While Rory is their only grandchild, she’s not an ‘only-child’ since she has a sister from her dad.
@emunebula29752 жыл бұрын
She's technically got nothing to do with them

@@emunebula2975 still. She has a sister, the show just doesn’t pay attention to it until Lor and Chris are dating/get married in season 7.

Rory is an only child to Lorelai that's all.

Plus Rory was raised as an only child. There’s a difference. Just because she has a sister as an adult doesn’t mean she doesn’t have the tendencies of “stereotypical only childeren”
