Couldn’t have said it better myself, they deserved so much more screen time. They should have gotten together earlier and not broken up like that. The chemistry between them was so electric and they were so perfectly suited for each other and the fact Milo and Alexis were going out irl is yet another reason why the show should have let them stay together-they should have been the great love story. Dean and Logan both wanted Rory to change to be what they wanted her to be but Jess just loved her for who she was and there was such passion between them such fire, their love was so deep and pure. He knew her better than anyone.

@@lukerooney2024 I know I'll never get over it how the writers did Rory and Jess...their chemistry was like no other I'm so mad we didn't get enough of them, and the writers tried to make their relationship look as bad as possible sometimes. These two were THE couple endgame worthy! What about all the movie nights, the book events, the concerts, the deep conversations they had, the writers totally screwed them over to write off Jess...they could have at least let him take her to prom, and instead of all that cringy Dean stuff in season 4 she could have been with Jess! I'm so mad at the writers for doing them so dirty, they deserved more time, we were all tired of Dean by this point...her and Dean had ZERO chemistry makes me so mad they didn't give these two a fair chance! Jess and Rory's chemistry was through the roof, they had that fire, you get the butterflies, why did the writers have to be so cruel, they take Jess away, and give us that cringe fest with Dean, and gave us Tristan 2.0 😔

I think that’s the point. It’s not like he looked it up for Luke because Luke could’ve just done that himself. And Jess could’ve easily looked up how far Yale is from New York since he would’ve been 18 as well as it’s been known since his first appearance that he wanted to go back to NYC (even if it wasn’t as apparent in season 3 than in season 2). Yet instead he looked up how far Yale was from Stars Hollow for himself. That was probably meant to show that for as pessimistic Jess can be most of the time, when it came to Rory he had hope that a) they’re relationship would last that long and b) the effect she had on him to where he’d be willing to stay in Stars Hollow for her.

I think it's because we got more time to see him when he was young, and got more of those witty moments, and the chemistry between him and Rory was electric! I loved his personality, and my he was always so hott! His voice too! I can't jgjfjf! I love that he got other major roles since Gilmore Girls, but I just wanted more of Jess on this show! The show lost it's zing when he left. We were robbed, we needed more Jess screen time, and more of him and Rory's relationship! The writers messed it up for a spin off that never happened, so they messed up their relationship, and wrote him off. 😢 They had the best chemistry! I love his whole character arc, when he was young, and when he grew up, I just love Jess! The good, the bad, the in between! I love his whole character, I love where he came from to where he ended up, from becoming an angsty teen to a mature handsom adult, I love all of Jess!! 💕
