One of the reasons why Jrue is able to attack like this on Boston is because of the attention on Jayson Tatum. Also, Jrue is just a good basketball player. He plays great on both ends of the ball. He can spot up and shoot if needed, and he can drive to make a play if the defense rushes in to contest the perimeter. However, it's a completely different environment to be responsible for the scoring load and have teams scout you as the number one or number two scorer on a team. That's a different type of pressure. The team is well constructed as it is. It doesn't work being a heliocentric offense. This work's, obviously, as they are in the lead to win an NBA championship. Tatum just needs to select better shots, and create offense when he sees his team is stagnant. He's doing everything else very well.

Brown is the most balanced player with the most effect on the game. Tatum has been inefficient. Browns defense on luka isn’t a bonus though. Luka is efficient, leading scorer and triple double. I like Tatum but the narrative that he’s sacrificing scoring by being a facilitator simply is not true. He’s taking the most shot attempts on the team. Last game he even took more shots than Luka. Tatum is definitely looking to score, he’s just not hitting shots. He has been historically inefficient shooting the ball so far this series. And he’s leading the team in turnovers. But it is impressive that he’s still finding ways to contribute despite his poor shooting. He’s leading the team in assists and rebounds. If he fixes his scoring he can still win FMVP.

Very clever around the basket, he has a bag stop it, if he focused more on the offensive end like most players instead of defense then he would 100 percent be looked at as an offensive load for anybody.
