Күн бұрын

Anthony Edwards DOMINATES Jamal Murray & The Denver Nuggets as Gilbert Arenas, Mark Jackson & The Gil's Arena Crew react to the Minnesota Timberwolves blowout win over Jokic & The Nuggets and debate if this much anticipated series is headed for a sweep. They break down another excellent performance from Ant-Man as he continues to take the NBA Playoffs by storm and discuss what is going wrong for Jokic & Jamal Murray as Nuggets look mortal for the first time in 2 years. They then analyze Game 1 between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers that saw Jalen Brunson give the Garden another show as the Nova Knicks took hold of the series. Finally they whip around the NBA, discussing topics like Victor Wembanyama's Rookie of The Year Season, Pat Riley's comments on Jimmy Butler after the Miami Heat's Round 1 loss, Caitlin Clark's WNBA Debut, and get Mark Jackson' thoughts on the current state of the Golden State Warriors & his desire to return to NBA Coaching. Please consider giving us a like and subscribe!!!
Gil’s Arena premieres every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET.

They are so clueless, this is the same nuggets team as last yr. They played 3 play-in teams on way to chip last yr. Only team that wasnt was the suns, who made major changes w/ 20 games left & kd barely played until the playoffs. And the suns are better this year &we seen what the wolves did to them. And that wolves team the nugs beat last yr wasnt close to what they are this yr, they also made a bunch of moves at deadline last yr, so were adjusting to different roles and different players in the roles. And they didnt have n reid or j mcdaniels available in thst series. I said it before the season the nuggets arent what people think and no chance they make finals this yr and wont win another chip. Last yr was one of the weakest yrs in a long time for the western conf.

Just for context, 22- year old MJ. He had turned 22 by Feb. of his rookie season, 1984-85. He averaged 28.2 ppg at 51% FG shooting accuracy. Playoffs, he averaged 29.3 ppg in the playoffs at 43% FG. On his part, ANT averaged 25.9 ppg at 46% FG during this recent regular season, and an astonishing (!!) 32.3ppg and nearly 55% FG in the playoffs--so far.

Babe Ruth level guys. World famous people came to see them, and they loved the pressure. Ali in boxing out shined every other boxer ever. He got the love, and respect of important people, famous people, wanted to be in his company. Men, women, and children. I know, they had the "it" factor. There is not just one greatest of all time. Mark Jackson's ears were burning. The man sat through all those G-damns and cursing, and didn't blink. You know he was praying for these dudes. Anyways, you can tell that he's versed in the inner workings of a front office. He knows what to say and how to approach players. K-Mart wants to be a coach. He should take cues from Mark. Play the game, be aware of perceptions. Calling everyone a ni99a and beyotch doesn't endear you to future employers.

I hate to tell you but 90% of these coaches talk like this when they are with each other. But how do you know he wants to be a HC or an AC? If he wanted to be one he would be in the league already

This is definitely my favorite show. This and Night Cap. Guys, please stop. Wemby is 20ft tall. He is supposed to dominate a basketball game. Just because the other tall guys are disappointing doesn't mean that this is spectacular. So please just stop it

Mark Jackson's son said Lebron washed Birds career. Smh How? He does know that Bird won 3 straight Mvps with Magic and Jordan in the league right. Two finals Mvps as well. And I'm a Laker fan born and raised in So Cal but real recognize real. This young generation yo. Very mouthy with no respect for who paved the way for them. Foh

Funny how these guys act like players today are Decepticons. Like in a matter of 20-30 years, they evolved to something unimaginable 😂 Yet 2 of the best players in today's league couldn't jump over a phone book in Luka and Jokic. Luka even admitted it's easier to score in the NBA than in Europe. That should tell you everything you need to know. Give Bird all the advancements, trainers and sports medicine in this era and he would cook all these dudes.
