One of the most prolific things I've ever heard came from Kenyon. For 15 years he was sheltered, and he didn't have to deal with people because he had people doing things for him. I can honestly relate to everything he's said. I played professional basketball overseas for 9 years...And I felt everything he said. Just playing overseas, forget the fact that K-Mart was a max / or damn near max player in the league. Thank God I'm in Taiwan, teaching ESL, volunteering at children's homes, coaching basketball and making a difference in children's lives. I do hope that Gil, K - Mart, and BJ can expand on this subject a bit more. I know too many cats that I hooped with or knew of, that are completely broke, or lost.

After Bron made the decision to go to Miami, the media turned on'em and hated'em too. Norris Cole is like the quintessential NBA role player. He was a first round pick but he wasn’t a lottery pick. He was sent to a good team to do a specific thing. And even though he was the man in college, he was mature enough to understand why he was there. He got a flat top and a played hard every game so that everyone would remember that dude with the flat top on the Heat who always was making the right play for the big three. Then after the success of that team he floated around the league for a bit and now he’s playing overseas and thinking about becoming a coach. If he does become a coach in the NBA, it’s just another way for guys to get into the league. You don’t always make it as a player but your basketball talent fan still get you a job in the NBA.
