A gilt-head bream is one hell of a catch that far north, but as the seas warm it may not be long before others are caught. Well done all the same.

My best Gilthead was 4lb 6 down in the Channel Islands….record in Alderney is 9Ib 10…an absolute monster from the shore…all the best from the Channel Islands xxx

Black lugg you may be able to get fresh from zulcron shop in hartlepool or frozen blacks from most tackle shops. We usually stock frozen blacks. Rag Worm most tackle shops stock it from spring.
