BEXHILL ON SEA | Full tour of the seafront at Bexhill On Sea, East Sussex, England

My home town and I'm still here! Having travelled and worked in many countries it's always been good to come home. Now, the seafront is a favourite place for a ride on my mobility scooter, carry on going East, over Galley Hill on the South Coast Cycle Way, to Ravenside retail park, St. Leonards and Hastings. Great video thanks.

How do you walk from Bexhill to Hastings safely, please? Does the pavement go all the way around the round about following De LA Warr Road towards At Leonard's?

@@darkangelw8472 I would Avoid De-La-Warr Road at all cost! Walking or 'scootering'. From the seafront, go East along the promenade to Galley Hill, up to the coastgaurd hut and you will find the start of a wonderful walk/cycle track which goes all the way to Hastings keeping you safely away from all traffic. Passing the Cafe on the beach, Ravenside industrial park, Bo-Peep, along the promenade from St.Leonards on into Hastings, all the way to Rock'nOre. Best stop for some fish and chips before heading back ;-)

Yes me , ..agrees with you,..from Florida,...did I see a palm tree?..everything looks very well looked after,..never seen it look so good...weather fresh and chilly ,..will be a change from hot stuffy Florida!!

So lovely to see my much missed home town and couldn't see any changes in the 7 years I've been away, apart from a couple of shop names. You stopped just before you reached my old apartment block. I used to love waking up on summer days, to the sound of lapping waves. Miss Bexhill a great deal! Many thanks for a great quality video, much enjoyed! 😀

I'd heard of this place but have never been or even seen any of it. It looks really nice. I like the white fronted buildings they have on the coast, I think they just give each place a wonderful look.

I used to live there it's a crap hole and all the sewage is dumped in the sea directly at Bexhill I used to be able to smell it everynight in summer as I was on the second floor

We live in Kissimmee, Florida,..visiting Bexhill,..where family and friends ,...good video ,..nice and clean.....Unfortunately, Kissimmee very built up, noisy, too much traffic,...Florida changing....Bexhill looks rather nice...unspoit...love the charm of the Victorian buidings.

Thank you great video. We live in Eastbourne but often drive over to walk along BH promenade and also visit the many charity shops there are there. Often wondered whether the sculpture outside of the DLW is meant to accentuate the sound of the sea.

And to make it more appealing to visitors the council took the chance Covid closure gave them to install - really quickly - controlled paid parking, even though there was NO parking issues. Still, got to find the funds for those pensions somehow...

I preferred Bexhill on sea back in the80's & 90's was a lovely walk along there to and from St Leonards on sea & Hastings Hastings & Bexhill just look like every other sea side town now, they have lost their charm.
