Been going to Benidorm since 1973 - yes an old git lol. Used to live near there. Where you saw the Ale Hop shop on that corner, if you looked almost directly in front of you to your right, there is a big sign on a wall for a Paella. This square has some INCREDIBLE tapas bars and one in particular called Zodiac. 6 pinxchos (tapas) and a bottle of Rose Cava for 8 euros, or Menu del Dia (menu of the day ) three courses with wine for 12 euros each. Follow it off with a brandy called Soberano or a liquer called Ponche (say ponshay) Caballero, with ice (in Spanish con hielo ... say con yellow). Glad we are going back in five weeks for 14 days , then June for another 14 days and then September for 23 days. If you are just thinking about going to Benidorm ..... dont think, just go.

Just back from my first ever holiday in Benidorm and this video has made me nostalgic. Heard all the horror stories over the years but this has been one of my best holidays ever! We were twice in the last tapas bar shown Pinxtos Arrera. Delicious and cheap! Thank you for doing the video.

Old town is great Also check out Poniente Beach side of Benidorm. It’s very peaceful and classy

We stayed in Flamingo Beach Resort on Calle del Esperanto. 15 minute walk to the beach, the strip and the Old Town with plenty to see and do on the way, even in January. If you’re into karaoke, Voices / Shooters is perfect. Plenty of shows on at the moment. Look for Pablo Bloom at Uncle Ped’s British Pub on Calle Derrmador.

I'll visit tons of cities.. my base near Benidorm will be Valencia.. so I'm planning to pass an entire day in Benidorm and return to Valencia by bus.. Do you think on a Sunday I can buy the return bus ticket to Valencia (in Estación de Autobuses Benidorm) without any issues? Cause I don't know how much time I'm willing to spend there strolling around. I know I can buy it in the Alsa site but don't know if tickets are too demanding..
