I'm a current Gimje resident through the EPIK program, and since it's such a small city, you can imagine my surprise when "Gimje Vlog" came up on my recommended! Interesting to see what the office wanted you to showcase. Those locations are definitely out of Gimje-center, and would be pretty tricky for a Korea-newbie to get to. Mostly because of the unreliable / sometimes unpredictable bus systems outside of the major cities, which you had first-hand experience with. But, for anyone in Korean for a little longer, it's definitely a change of pace and a unique experience. Lovely vlog!

Ahaha yes~! The center let me decide where in Gimje I wanted to go~! I'm so grateful to them for that~ There are so many more places I wanted to go but wasn't able to because of the transit time between destinations 🥲 But aha yes~ I can imagine your surprise! None of my Korean friends knew where Gimje was until I told them I had a project out there haha

Ummm Honestly I have no recollection as to which video that was~ I know I mentioned them in a video and added them to the description box, but I really don't remember which video that was 😅 All I can say is it would have been posted between late 2019 to mid 2021 and that it wouldn't have been an italki sponsored video since the point of the sponsorship is to promote the service not specific teachers~ I'm really sorry~ Usually I remember which exact video things like this are in, but I've talked about italki so many times that I really don't know

I don’t think they have to stop if there’s no one at the bus stop and no one ringed the bell

??? We were saying that there were no announcements of where the stops where and the driver drove down a different street from where the actual physical bus stop was. Like there was a sign and bench for that bus but he didn’t even go that way - we know that was a stop for the bus we were on because that’s where we has supposed to let us off but he didn’t. That’s what we were trying to explain 😅
