This song expresses the urgency we all face to unite together as a planet and offers us wisdom with the words, "War, children, it's just a shot away... Love, sister, it's just a kiss away". It really is that simple. We dedicate this song to all the lost, homeless and forgotten people in this world. It is in the shelter of each other that the people live.

The powers know this, which is why they’ve spent so much time since first censoring Elvis from the waist down on tv to banning tunes from radio, to putting parental Discretion labels on records to ensuring ‘dumb’ music like mindless pop songs dominate the mainstream. I’ve learnt so much from some of favourite singers and artists. Far more important things than what I learnt in school. The last thing the powers that be want is One Unity Of people.

If possible tell Roselyn Williams that she did an awesome job on this and has been an inspiration. Her singing really has me fired up to want to jump in and sing along with all my heart and soul.

Charlie, on the other hand, detests it. Only kidding! Killer version.

@@4ctmam I think Charlie probably would detest it. It's lost the rhythmic drive completely. I appreciate it the way it is, but man it feels gutted by comparison to most other versions of the song. Great cause though. Most of the Playing for Change series I really like, musically speaking, but not this one.

@@slimturnpike Well, it's a very different take, it loses the original groove totally, yeah. But I like that it's different, otherwise what's the point of doing a cover? And this version brings ouit the melodic aspects of the composition more.

Thank you for that inspiring song And a BIG thank you to the many people small and big working to end war, UN Peace ops, African Union, Interpol, / promote peace in their community , their family And providing services through out the health care system that would not be working with out the work of those in logistics This is a SHORT list of those we rely on to be safe.
