Isn’t it amazing how something can arrive from the UK undamaged without proper padding but ULTA can’t get something delivered a state over without it exploding all over the place? Make it make sense 😮

LMAO! Oddly enough, I order art supplies from Jackson's (UK) and they arrive WITHOUT FAIL, in THREE DAYS!! And all secure and perfect. Yet I order from Blick or Jerry's (US) and it takes two friggin weeks and the shit is all squished (metal paint tubes), or bent in half (rolls of paper), and the box looks like the FedEx driver caught rabies and got really angry at my package. I think the UK has cast some special spell in their shipping partners making it impossible to have a shit delivery.......🤣🤣🤣

I have a theory...a crackpot one buuuuuuuuut: there are Ulta employees whose job is specifically to fuck up orders. Job titles include: The Crusher. Their job is to destroy pressed powder products and make sure its bad enough so you can't repress them. The Forgotten One. Their job is to go through each order to make sure a product is left out. This one is special bc they're psychic! They can look at each order to see the product you want the most and that's the one they pick to leave out! And that's all I got...I'm tired... 😅 I HATE Ulta's shipping............. 🥝💚🖤

The FedEx guy sticks my packages out in the sun, right in plain view or in my carport (also in plain view) so if my husband doesn't see it when he pulls in he'll run it over... Which isn't his fault. How do they see a carport and tire marks and think that's an appropriate place to put something?! Or they stick a box specifically labeled "soap" and "this product melts in heat" directly in the sun instead of my shaded porch....... I never have issues with orders from overseas. Sometimes things take a little longer but not much of a difference than ordering from my own state... 🥝💚🖤

Bless Ulta. I literally can't even place online orders with them in order to ger them delivered in the first place. I have two theories as to why they have so many "10% off if you buy online" promos: 1) they know only a fraction of people will actually manage to get the system to accept their order with no errors, therefore not actually a lot of discounts given, or b) their super sad web dev team keeps trying to fix it, and the promos are to rally a bunch of people to test the update.

You spoke on how ultas packaging caused the damage to your palette. How about when I got home to my Ulta package yesterday, someone had gone through my package, stolen my perfume and left the packaging, and opened some of my other purchases, resealed the box from the bottom, and had it delivered to me. Some tricks I’ve heard for preventing eyeglass pads from wearing off your makeup: (1) Pat some setting powder on the pads. (2) tap a little setting spray on the pads with a cotton pad. Maybe one of those options will work for you!

For glasses, try the Silhouettes Titanium frames with a polycarbonate lenses. They are super light and eliminate the headaches and nose divots from the weight.

I have a pink undertone to my skin and am also dry, so I've tried a few of the pink'ish setting powders to avoid getting something that dries me out or makes my skin look yellow. Personally I find that "pink" powders look a bit off in that they brighten too much but lavender powders are much better. Suqqu's "The Loose Powder" is my favorite to date and I finally stopped my search (which was a constant "this should be better" focus that resulted in me preferring Koh Gen Do and Hourglass previously). The Suqqu product isn't cheap,, but it so has 20g of product. Also worth noting when I use setting powder it's not for longevity so much as to set a foundation and clean up a look, so I can't totally speak to that aspect, but I know there are many other lavender/light purple powders on the market.

I’m a pink undertone too & have found the same thing. Lavender setting powders are awesome! I’m medium tan though, so I can also occasionally pull off soft cool tone peach tone setting powders too. Most are way too warm though. 😭 Having an under catered to undertone (or skin tone for that matter) is so frustrating when you’re trying to find base products!

It's a weird and unusual story about Charlette Tilbury! I was on the site, and my man wanted to know what I was doing. I said oogling at something at this makeup I will never afford. He bought me and eye kit! Pillow Talk eyeshadow quad , a mascara, and I was so excited. 2 days later, I get my package. The wrong one. I was so disappointed I wrote an email. They sent me another (the exact same kit) they sent the freaking Pillow Talk Pop of Sparkles, a lippie and liquid highlighter. Today we went back and forth figurine this out so I get to keep the 2 , kits and say it was in good faith they are sending my correct order and I got to choose my colour Mesmerize cream shadow Pillow Talk palette and mascara. How awesome is she. Hehe. ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊 I wanted this Apple Too Faced palette, but I chose the sophisticated boujie on a budget. 😂 It's stupid expensive but worth 175$ for everything. 😂 Love this look, darling. Up to my pits in sparkly eyeshadow. 😊😂. ❤😊

Theresa, USE BOTH SETTING POWDERS. The Pink powder looks good everywhere except your under eyes and upper cheekbone areas. Use the Translucent powder under eyes and in places you want a highlight or the features to come forward. I adore you btw! See you next video 🙌🏽🫶🏽🥂

Ooh the highlighter looks so pretty on you, I feel very cool with red eyeshadow too 😎! I ordered a large order from ulta a few years ago and my first thing was a blush that arrived in a box with bubble stuffing(?). The rest of my order came together and it wasn’t padded, I think it was just a regular bubble mailer, my elf quad came a little broken, tried repressing but just ended up scraping it out because it kept breaking.. at least it was my least fav shadow and it was a cheap palette, the other colourpop palette I ordered was safe though :)

Thank you for calling out the horrible stickers on the Glamlite powders. I ordered the same two powders and i swear it took me at least 30 minutes to get the stickers off and I left half the sticker on each one. However LOVE the mini puff, they should sell those separately!! Pink was a no-go for me but I like the translucent one.

About the glasses mark on the sides of the nose, I saw a tip where you apply a bit of the foundation and then powder to the glass cushion section (I don't know the real name either) and it's supposed to not leave marks. I tried it on a pair of sunglasses, but then never remembered to check to see if it worked or not. Anyway worth a shot once to test it out! I think I'll try it again today.

I can’t believe how expensive Too Face is getting. Try putting powder directly on those nose cushions. That usually prevents them taking off my foundation and I live in an ungodly hot state as well. That high lighter is blinding!

So I've seen a few reviews of this palette now and I'm thoroughly confused. How does Too Faced describe this 18 pan palette with hues of red and green shades when it's 2 reds, 2 greens, 5-6 pinks, 2 browns then the remainder neutral shades. I get that it's better then what they have been releasing and the quality is good but... it's a pink/neutral palette with a pop of green and red no?

I swatched and compared this broken shade (sparkling cider) to the shade Rich Girl in the chocolate gold palette. While they are very similar, they aren’t an exact match. The Sparkling Cider shade in the Appley palette has more of a pink undertone compared to Rich Girl. But looking at the shades head on, they are very similar and really wouldn’t show much difference on the eyes. Hope this helps!
