Idk. If it was at nicer hotel marketed towards the wealthy and gaudy, the hotel. Bars are supposed to be some of the best. I mean, a lot of business men go get drinks to talk business. And a lot of celebrities like to stop off in the hotel bar since they tend to be a calmer atmosphere and the music tends to be soft and quiet rather than club music at full blast. It’s actually a very good place for a date. A lot of them tend to have little two or three seater tables scattered around the room, and the lighting is low. Good for romance, good for calming a mark or building rapport with clients, investors, and the like. They tend to be upscale, and most of them are in 5 star hotels. And if it’s a well known place they’ve both gone, it could be that they just like the food. Or that it was a safe option because they were both comfortable there. Where else was he supposed to take her? Home town buffet? McDonald’s? _everywhere_ in LA is somewhere influencers are known to go to.

If we're talking within the context of Halley and Reed's personal relationship, then yes. Reed is the villain because he was the one who owed Halley loyalty over a mere acquaintance. But if we're talking about this as online drama, Sophia is definitely the villain. Her proud bragging is the only reason we even know about this story in the first place. What we've seen of Reed paints him as questionable, but both him and Halley clearly would have preferred to keep their (resolved) personal matters offline and he isn't the one using his platform to publicly and continuously hurt Halley long after the fact. Honestly, the only thing about the coverage of the story I don't like is that people sometimes use language that infantilizes Reed (like Sophia tried to "steal" Halley's man, but he's not a family heirloom and he can't be stolen y'all- I don't care how much of a hard time he was having. He's a grown man who made his own shitty choice) but otherwise Sophia absolutely deserves the callout bc what she's doing is borderline online harassment- aside from profoundly hateable. Which is arguably a way bigger deal than whatever personal issues Reed and Halley had, that- and I cannot stress this enough- are resolved and ultimately none of our business as internet randos. So the man in this situation is a passive bystander? Sophia is gross for using her friend group like a dating app and sizing up other peoples partners, but reed sounds like the male version of her, he did the same shit as her. They both suck but its pretty interesting that we're sitting here lambasting the girl instead of both of them.

I actually don’t think it’s strange that people are only coming for Sophia, because she’s the only person running her mouth about this stuff endlessly and she’s being rude and dishonest publicly while complaining that blondie put her out there - he hasn’t gone on about this as much as she has so he’s going to fall in the shadows naturally. I definitely think he should be held accountable as well but because of the way she’s behaving and his silence people are going to rag on her for being bitchy

Cooper mentioned multiple times how Reed did shitty things too and if he were Halley, he wouldn't get back with him. But at the end of the day, people know the most about Sophia, she's actively posting about it and he's not, so there's not much to say about it. How much he's changed is up to question, and only they'll know. However, Sophia is really transparent and she's still whining about it so clearly she hasn't changed for the better. Halley can date who she wants, she and Reed reconciled, what he and Sophia did was mean, but the couple moved on and Sophia is still stuck on it months later. She's literally obsessed with them. As a woman, this is NOT something sexist. This is *not* lambasting. This is criticizing a jealous girl who will NOT shut the fuck and leave these two alone. Absolutely none of this would have happened if Sophia had not been such a brat about the "are you dating my ex? Just wanted to clarify so people can stop commenting about it." If there was more about Reed, if he was online as much as then, there would probably be more to say. But he's not, and we don't know much about him besides what others say he's like, so there isn't much you can say aside from "that's pretty fucked and I wouldn't get back with him but go off ig." This is a VERY talkative person being a jackass about everything she can. There was no reason for her to say "her ex looks better on me" while they're dating other than she's just being mean because that's how she is. If she's going to be this publicly mean for no actual reason and fake crying when nothing about this situation hurt her in any way, then she's going to get called out the hardest.

to start, she’s an influencer and he isn’t, so she’s going to get more backlash than him. Since he isn’t an influencer, he hasn’t spoken on what happened. All we know is that she has chosen to forgive him, and they obviously worked it about among them. The problem is that after it was over and done with, she just had to stir the pot again! Why would she ever come on the internet and start talking about how nice he was, after they already got back together? Not only that, imagine bragging about the fact you went out on a date with the ex of someone you knew! She’s getting what she wanted, attention. Just wasn’t good attention. She’s going to get backlash, because the person who was wronged has forgiven him. If she just shuts up about it, and admits she was ALSO wrong, then it’ll be over.
