It's like... even if somehow fiendsmith and snake eyes didn't exist in this format, these two decks still would. Why in the world would anyone want to play this format lol. And this isn't even considering the prominent floodgates left like shifter, skill drain, rivalry, d-barrier, etc.

Tenpai would suck next format because Yubel would be the best deck without Snake Eye, Gimmick Puppet is not a meta contender deck for sure

You can chainblock droll with bloody doll ,when you detach from makina ,while you are under terror baby. If you then have field spell and don't search you can still ftk with giant grinder and one c40 which pops and draws. But i guess people just haven't figured that out yet,most hands to scoop to droll tho. Better draw non engine to save you. (Also playing the puppet trap is horrible)

It's not though. If puppets resolve their field spell, it's imperm or lose, and that's only if they don't banish baby. Banished baby is guaranteed ftk.

this is the TCG art, the OCG art is the coffin but it was censored when we got puppets. We actually get the coffin art soon in the TCG as a LART

Shouldn’t C40 still activate under droll? It’s mandatory to destroy monsters with a string counter on summon. The conditional draw just won’t apply.

I don’t think it’s conditional since conditional effects have “ if you do you can” clauses on them while c40 states that if you do the effect to destroy draw a card then burn.

@@Csthh conditional in the sense that you don’t draw if you don’t destroy. The effect to destroy will activate regardless though, even if there are no other monsters on field.

People complaining about Snake Eye as if these decks with custom cards that protect literally everything aren't going to exist too. Post-INFO is going to be a horrible format for this game and it's going to ward away players the way pendulum format did. Yubel, Gimmick Puppet, Fiendsmith, and Tenpai are all going to be oppressive beyond comprehension for any deck that doesn't play Shifter...who'll all get outpaced by these decks anyway.

ftks shouldn't even exist. i love gimmick puppets, but it should've stayed as an otk deck like it was after the legendary duelist support a few years ago. support should've always been to facilitate otk plays, not this dumb shit.
