This concept is what my mother taught me growing up (47 year old woman, here). Buy pieces that you can put with other pieces...and don't buy a lot of trendy clothes because styles change. And also, buy good quality items that will last longer in your wardrobe

I also agree! I’ve been working from home for almost 3 years now and I haven’t really shopped for clothes like that. Now I’m going to school and feel so underwhelmed by my closet. Plus I have a trip to Cancun with the husband to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and I’m going crazy trying to figure out what to wear

I live in Vegas and you experienced my biggest pet peeve about living here. Businesses, jobs, laterally everywhere they will make mistake that that severely inconveniences you and will either be nonchalant or act like you did something to them. My job flat-out lied about details of my job then made a mistake and lost my first paycheck (that I had already waited a month for). They did nothing to fix it. Nothing.

The machine for CPR is called a Lucas..not sure if you can purchase but that's what we use in the ER if the person is small enough to fit or we do manual compression, and you can break ribs doing it (one of my co workers is referred to as 'the rib crusher'). And you can purchase a portable AED I'm sure. But to use an AED you still need to do compressions

I've given the heimlich maneuver before. It's scary to witness an emergency, but nothing is worse than being there unable to do anything to change it. I say take the course!😊 And there's this "oral vacuum" you can buy also (can't think of the name), but it's great for small children and infants because the heimlich doesn't always work for them. Inside Edition had a couple profiles on people that used it to save lives.

My daughter choked on a peppermint when she was about 9, I didn't know what to do, but I guess I've seen you throw them over a chair and pump it out, my child is 20yrs old and anytime she eats hard candy I make her bite it in little pieces first, now she just does it on her own. Scariest thing ever. Why do old ppl give kids hard candy 😂😂😬

Where was your grace for the worker that was obviously doing double duty and actually showed up for work? Try this next time: it sounds like they trying you today, but if you could assist me because they trying me too on my end, I would greatly appreciate it. But if you can’t, tell me when you think would be a good time to call back. 😌😌😌😌😌😌 Saying you have expensive rooms is very new money, lacks grace, very tacky and could be handled better. My two cents……I’m now broke. 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

When I said: ma’am, it sounded like I’m bothering you, that was my grace. I didn’t go off, it was an opportunity for her to apologize and say what was going on, but instead I was met with attitude and I still don’t ask to speak or complain to her manager. I extend a lot of grace all the time, and I really didn’t even go off on the young lady, I simply called her out for her attitude. I’ll be new money, but classless and tacky…girl, never. I’m never that.

There may be a legitimate reason to huff or puff because you're frustrated, but on the clock to a customer isn't one of them. She's entitled to feel frustrated with the situation, but the patron is entitled to professional service. Their family was inconvenienced multiple times, and could've expressed *their* frustration, but didn't. If they can keep their cool, surely she could've maintained her demeanor. It don't matter if it's at the Wynn or at McDonald's- save all that extraness for your break or the next employee meeting. 😅

Not asking to speak to her manager was grace. The reality is 2 bedroom suites at the Vdara are Expensive. It’s not tacky, it’s the truth…and expecting a certain level of respect and assistance from a place you’ve paid YOUR money (regardless of how much) should be Minimum ask. Thank you for watching but girl. Insulting Melissa is the only thing tacky on this post & even still. I hope you never experience treating your family to a vacation where the front desk attendant is rude and inconsiderate - but if it does happen, I hope you extend the same grace you speak of.😊
