What is the range of this bike, I'm 58 and I go cycle touring, if I put a rack and panniers what range would I get

oooh I have not tested the full range on the bike. But the one without the suspension I was able to get easely 40 miles and this one has the uprated battery. The range is also going to depend on the terrain, rider weight and in what mode you spend most of the time. I will see if I can do a range test to check it out.

Pretty nice bike for the price. They sometimes have a long lead time but if you are happy to wait for them to fill the order you get a solid all round package for the money.

This is correct, I did speak to them about this and gave them some feedback as a few other people also mentioned this. They need to be more upfront with the waiting times. The reason for this is that they need to get a batch of bike together and then get them all shipped out. The are making progress with a local warehouse that they are busy setting up as we speak so the lead times should come down when that is all going. Still a great bike for the money.

Yes its a pain, if you order at the start of the batch you have to wait the longest but hopefully with the new local warehouse this is going to speed up the stock and the build process. Thanks for the feedback.

I have a Ginx original ebike, great bit of kit and reliable, my only moan is a cycle bell would be far better than that horn thing, people don't react to the sound of it, put a bycyle bell they do. So I just fitted a bell from a halfords which works great. If your looking for an ebike that's British based with great after sales this is the one to check out. Go for it. 🚲

Hello! I've got the same model. How did you manage to attach the handlebar to the bike? The stem is a lot thicker than the hole in the bar and instructions aren't very clear.

I have built two of these bikes and it the stem clamp that you put the bar in and then screw it down. Its not going to fit all the way around just to the sides. There is always going to be a gap between the bottom and the top. If you cannot sort it out please get hold of the support team they are very responsive. Good luck and also any bike store should be able to help as its a stock standard stem

Thanks so much! I've reached out to them as I can't seem to be able to expand the stem clamp to fit onto the bar. It's the integrate screen version so the clamp is built into the handlebar like in your video.

So you have the new version with the intergrated screen, if that is it then yes you are right. I did mention this to them as feedback to look at giving the option to the client for an standard bar or the intergrated screen. Even a version that does not have a screen at all. I just had a look and the 250W motor from Bafang kicks out 80Nm of torque. Pretty good for this bike as its not super heavy. Great ride for the price.

@@Andre-Mostert There is no way that this has 80Nm of torque, if that's true it would beat a lot of mid drive motors. It looks like the H410 motor from Bafang, which has 35Nm of torque.

Mmm this is what I spotted on the label of the motor at that time. I will have to double check with them as if I think about it 80Nm is high for a rear hub 250W motor. Thanks for the spot. I will try and find out and update here.

Their 500w version has a top speed of 15.5mph according to there website, yea ill pass... i have a 500w motor on mine and it can reach 25mph so something doesn't sound right

Yes the website is going to be updated soon with a fesh look. The 500w motor version is higher than 25mph but again to comply with the UK law it is set to 15.5mph. But reach out to the team and they can let you know more details. This version that I rode is only coming in June as it has all the upgrade from the previous one. Thanks for the comment.

Very weird, I have had a total different experience so far. But they are a new brand and the stock does take a good old time to get to customers as they need to fill up the stock grouping before doing the order. But please reach out to them and try and resolve this. I hope you get this sorted. I sold a bike to a contact and it did take long to arrive but he is super happy with the price he paid and the quality.

I did reach out and did, hopefully get it resolved. If they had mentioned at the time of buying how long I would have had to wait I could have got my head around it. They sent me a photo of a Chinese fella loading my bike into a container 6 weeks after I paid, saying 'good news your bike is on its way!'

I’m supposed to get a delivery date next week, today the 25th July. I ordered on the 2nd April. So if I receive the bike in the next 14 days. It will be 4 months.

Yes to comply with the UK law it needs to be capped to 15.5mph. But I am sure there are loads of ways to give it some more boost. But the only thing is if you run it was wide open taps it might shorten the motors life. Thanks for the comment its much appreciated
