The X2000 Max is an Ebike from Lankeleisi which is a cheaper version of the Lankeleisi X3000 max. If you don't need rear suspension or BMX style handlebars then the X2000 max is a great alternative. It's also a dual motor ebike that doesn't scream 'seize my bike'. But how does it compare to the other dual motor beasts?

Yeah the key thing is odd sometimes I wonder if they forget to add the feature. But someone in the comments was upset that another bike actually needed the key 🤷

@@e-VRC haha! Each to their own. I just have nightmare visions of some kid seeing a nice bike and just wanting to go crazy pressing all the buttons. That's why it should have a turn on key. Eskuta have it best with a key fob, alarm, and keyless go!

I'm so grateful you posted this, as this is a bike I'm really interested in. The stealthier nature of it, when compared with the Ridstar and X3000 does makes it a very attractive proposition on that basis alone, as I prefer the wolf in sheep's clothing look. I'm really hoping you'll get to do a review on the Wallke H9 AWD, too. A cross between the Engwe Engine Pro and the X3000, it comes with options to mount staggering 40 or 60AH batteries... and it's pretty cheap... but that's reflected in the warranty, with it being only 12 months. Love the content, as always... and a very respectable Sandy Hill time as well, so my SHCC has been been adequately intervened and treated for this particular bike 😅 Many thanks for that 😊👍

If you want a fast ebike that doesnt look like one, check out the Fiido C11 City Bike, 500w brushless motor, Hydraulic brakes and thumb throttle that looks like its part of the shimno gears system, a step thru bike with the battery hidden in the frame, continuously press the mode button and the rocket symbol appears, im 14 stones, and l was doing 28 miles an hour up a hill, rode pazt several parked cop cars, they never batted an eyelid, tho l had slowed down and was doing some ghost cycling 😂. Best bike ive bought for stealth. A few people have expressed surprise that it was an ebike, they thought it was just a pushbike, l think ive even persuaded some to buy it, l should have asked for a cut from Fiido lol.

Glad it helped. Yeah I was impressed with this one. The frame is actually similar to my first folding fat tyre ebike the ado a20f which I always thought had the best looking frame for a folder.

I would happily buy a fast e bike, but plod confiscating it puts me off the idea:- Anything which is capable of being propelled at more than 15 mph, exceeds 40 kg or has a power output of greater than 250W is no longer an electric bike but, under section 185 of the Road Traffic Act, suddenly becomes a “motor vehicle”. Electric bikes - potential Road Traffic Act offences. Did you know that you can be accused of road traffic offences, for example riding the bike without the motor insurance, without the correct licence even speeding offences if your electric bike does not fall within the statutory exemptions in terms of its maximum speed, weight and maximum rated wattage. If your electric bike exceeds the maximum speed capability, maximum weight rules or the maximum rated power then it could be classed as a motor vehicle and needs to be fully road legal.

25mph is pretty disappointing for a bike with dual motors considering most of them do nearly 10mph faster. They must either be using weak controllers or its dual 500w motors. Edit: even 28 is slow for this setup, this bike would really benefit from an upgrade to 52v which would likely boost the top speed to the low 30sMPH.

It seems like other 2000w rated bikes will have controllers that let them peak above whereas this has a controller that gives about 1700w. 28 is more than enough for an ebike though imo.

@@e-VRC yeah, bikes like the philodo h8 are dual 27 amp controllers. So about 1500w per motor despite being rated for only 1000w each.

Get one of those really expensive kyrptonite locks. On my friends bike they tried to grind the lock off but only got a quarter of the way through before their drill broke and they ran off.

He's referring to the performance not the size, although I still wouldn't consider this a beast considering I've basically had the same from a little geared 750w motor.

Beasts come in different sizes and powers. And I'm talking more about hill climb and acceleration. Most 750w ebikes do about 28

I prefer range over power. Even with 2000W, it's not powerful enough to be main traffic. Bike also becomes more heavy and in relatively high speeds pedaling does not make sense. It's also over complicates bike. I have ADO A20f with battery 36v/10a, 500w, 40tq. On full throttle, it's last 15km. With assist, I can go 50km+ 10a or 20a are not enough for hill and high speed

Good honest review…I bought this one over the 3000 max due to the fact it doesn’t have the rear suspension and also the front handlebar stem is less clumsy looking..as you say it’s more stealthier looking…mine also was missing the power hole cover…just have to mention the release mechanism for the front stem was fine on mine…perhaps you just needed to tighten up the screw a little more ..deffo prefer range over speed..I find it a perfect bike that fits my needs as I mainly do canal rides and disused rail trails..9/10 from me😊

It's nice to have the extra motor for certain times though like hills and pulling away. You can always just run it on single motor mode. Did you notice the frames are very similar on this and the a20f?

@@e-VRC Sure, I am not denying having more power is nice. I'm just saying that as a new e-bike rider in a city where there is not enough bike roads I drive a corner of the road and even if majority drivers are cautions there are many dangerous situations when cars pass you very close. Just having a regular bike will be in that case better and safer to follow traffic flow. something middle how this e-bike is will not work in many cases.

@@e-VRC I always prefer hard tail bikes they make the bike feel less spongy.. I’ve not messed with settings yet but it could probably do with fine tuning maybe I’ll wait until my son calls again and then I can get him to sort it …he’s good with that sort of thing 🤣 love that it folds in half and I can even fit it in a Audi TT..but by god it’s heavy to lift it in carefully .. car change due maybe 🤣👍
