In this tutorial I am demonstrating a Straight Pour and I'm going for those big, fluffy could cells. This is a 20x20 Gallery Wrapped canvas. The paints I am using are Liquitex Basics Titanium White, Artists Loft Turquoise, DecoArt Americana Decor Satin Enamels in Pure White. The DecoArt Americana Decor paints are known to create cells without silicone. They are some of my favorites paints to use in straight pours.

Gina: amazing cloud painting. Question, when you said 1 paint: 2 Floetrol, did you mean 1 part DecoArt Satin Enamel: 2 parts Floetrol, then then with water mixture to proper consistency before adding the drops of Turquoise to the individual 3 cups?

Gina, what a great composition, especially that 3-D effect! I have learned so much from your great tutorials but I have a question for this one. I am new to acrylic pouring so I want to make sure I understand because I'd like to give this a try even if I have to choose another color because of the scarcity of the DecoArt Satin Enamel in white. For the base, in one large cup, you mix a lot of turquoise paint and pour some of it into a separate little cup for the background too, and, it's just 1 part paint to 2 parts Floetrol? Nothing else except a bit of your 90/10 water floetrol to thin? But, how do you mix the last 3 cups, i.e. the portions and proportions for the white satin enamel to the Titanium white to the Floetrol, please? I understand about the diminishing amount of turquoise in each of those cups of white, but I would be very grateful if you have time to share the other info on the two white paint mixes, please! This is marvelous! I'm glad you mentioned the water removal trick w napkins. Ive tried to blow it off if any end up on the edges, in the center i tried dabbing at it while trying not to ruin composition. I usually get mine from condensation in a straw if I'm blowing for some details. Even when i tap the straw and give a hard blow to shoot out the "heat spit" Thanks you for always teaching me something new.

When i need to laugh those moments off i give my canvas and paints a firm lecture about how i feel they should be working with me not against me. 🤣😂 over 10 years working with the multiple personality and temperament that resin can have, it's no wonder crafty people were the best customers in my retail experience. We understand having patience ☺
