Get him into karting. its quite expensive (buying karts and equipment) but its the best thing to do for a young kid

Regardless of budget, the process to start is the same. There's a huge number of incredibly talented drivers in all forms of racing that aren't millionaires. There are so many club racing series that you can race in without a large budget. Drivers may have different motivation for starting to race but once they start, the process is the same, as per the video.

There are couple of options! You can race karts or sim race. Both give you the thrill of racing and you'll learn all the same skills as racing cars but with a much lower budget!
